The Haikyuu Mafia

(It's long i know, but i would really appreciate you reading it! Thank you!)

Hello everybody! If you clicked on this story you are a part of one of two groups. A) You were scrolling on wattpad and found this story or B) you were on tik tok and saw my haikyuu mafia au storyboard video. If you are a part of A, I'd love for you to check out my tik tok and that video(s) under @trenidymontalvo. But you may not have to, i'd like to include some notable panels from them in this work anyways.

Group B) You already know what's going and what to expect for the most part. Due to the countless requests and the fact that drawing those panels is harder than I thought, I thought fanfic would be fun to write. This fanfic is gonna be a bit different though.

It's a self-insert of course and I doubt this is your first rodeo, but if it is. Here's some terms you gotta learn.

Y/N = Your name

Y/H/C = your hair color

Y/E/C - your eye color

Simple stuff like that. Furthermore because this a self-insert, i'd like it to be as inclusive as possible. While the Y/N i have written is quite feminine, i use inclusive language so it can be read from any angle. This story and series kinda relies on your own imagination which in my opinion makes it more fun but i will do my best to make sure you have those important details

Im integrated into haikyuu but there is stuff i still haven't gotten to yet and characters i have yet to meet. So I give you freedom to call me out if I write someone extremely out of character. That being said, this au puts the boys into the positions of mafia bosses and members, In short, they are criminals and so are you. They and perhaps you are going to act differently. Whether or not you like that difference, can vary from person to person. And i can't please everyone, but i can hope you like it.

When I say extremely out of character, I mean like if Kenma starts jumping around like pinkie pie and he's not on drugs...or if Hinata is some beefy badass.

And if you do call me out, be gentle, I can take a lot but it's hard to take an aggressive comment seriously. Also note I consider myself an accomplished writer with a lot of experience but I have my moments where a sentence is weird and a typo appears. My action scenes might also be all over the place... but maybe not, lets see.

On that note! Trigger warnings.

I cuss, in this story the characters and Y/N will cuss too. They are in the mafia y'all.

I won't be excessive and cussing has its appropriate moments which I will use, but know it's gonna be in here.

Triggers as far as situations may come up as well as keeping that in mind and let me know if i go too far. As readers I want you to be safe and enjoy the story.

That's hard to do if the story is ridiculous, the characters are wack, and the situations are too much.

Lemons and limes? Look i get that it would make sense with a story like this and i can write it well..don't think for a second i'm a wuss. I'm not, I'm an artist that enjoys a good love scene. As far as this story is concerned and whether or not it will contain such content, simple answer. I don't know...maybe. I know for a fact I have younger readers and sometimes people just want a good plot. That being said....if the situation presents itself ....and its appropriate...and realistic...i might add it with a warning.

Don't leave just yet!! there will be romance! Cause like..come on...why else are you here. (I see you and quite frankly me too, like why else am i writing this) Self-indulgence is a thing ya'll. They are all aged up to above 18 at the least!

A crucial point I need to cover is that this story is a "pick your own ending" meaning the first couple of chapters will be the beginning that everyone will have but you chose which path you want to follow.

By paths I mean romantic interest! So far the five captains have a set line as that was the original plan for the panels but I could find the ideas for other characters in the future. No promises though. The five captains are as follows:Ushiwaka, daichi, Bokuto, Kuroo, and oikawa.

Finally! Updates, i plan to update as much as possible but i live a life and writing blocks is real. I want the story to be good so if I feel the story is getting stale I will take a break or even hand it over to another capable writer. If i don't update in a week or longer, yell at me on my tik tok if that's still going on or on here. Don't harass me though, the paths will take time and will come out in chapters for each.
