Gon: The two of you lived on whale island. While Gon was exploring he saw you and was shocked to see another kid his age on whale island. He introduced himself to you and both of you hit it off as friends:)
Killua: The hunter exam. Tonpa offered you juice and Killua intervened saying that it was poisoned. You thanked him and the two of you started to get to know each other:)
Kurapika: The auction. The two of you were partnered to go after the troupe. At first he wasn't that fond of working together but after getting to know you he was genuinely interested in you:)
Leorio: Like Killua you two met at the hunter exam except it was on the boat. You thought he was rude and narcissistic for only wanting money when asked why he wanted to be a hunter. But after talking more with him while on the way to the official exam site you started to realize he was genuinely a kind man:)
