Finally, Ban and Meliodas reached Aftokrator. They entered the town and visited the public grill, there on the notice board they were shocked to see that......their faces were put up on the notice board as Most wanted with a bounty of 20k₪(the currency of Aftokrator~Arostis). They were surprised to see themselves on the most-wanted board. They fled to the underground as fast as possible as if anyone would have seen them, whole town would have come upon them so that they can catch them and collect the huge bounty.
The midnite of the day Ban and Meliodas kidnapped the son of the town's commissioner and asked him to meet in a remote place alone. The commissioner showed up alone and said I came here alone without saying anyone about you both cause my father who was the former grandmaster knight trusts you both . The commissioner asked for his son's safety. Ban released the child and sent him to his house safely. Meanwhile meliodas and the commissioner were having a talk. Meliodas asks"how did I and my friend Ban end up on the most wanted list?". The commissioner replied"The people of the neighbouring town of the diamond kingdom spotted you and Ban killing the knights of the diamond Kingdom so they said this to the King of Diamond Kingdom and they said to capture you both". Due to the high bounty even the commoners of Aftokrator want to catch you both.
After listening to this Meliodas understands that someone is trying to convince people and the Kingdom that Meliodas himself and Ban killed the knights.
He asked The commissioner to keep Meliodas and Ban's location a secret until they find out the truth behind this misunderstanding. The commissioner said unless anything else happens to the town's people or my family your secret is safe with me.
Early before sunrise Meliodas along with Ban went to the location where the Knights were killed in disguise.

They asked the people whether they saw the person killing the Knights or someone said them that meliodas and Ben killed them. Some of the villagers said that"A stranger came into the town covered in blood all over his body saying himself as the knight of the diamond kingdom. We helped him heal and afterr getting healed he said us that two deadly sins Meliodas and Ben were the people who killed his fellow knights and The clover kingdom Knights in the near forest and Sidonia. Luckily he survived and came for help. After listening to this we all went and said the king of Diamond king that Meliodas and Ben killed his knights while they were fighting the Clover kingdom. The king kept an huge bounty on them and asked us to capture them."Meliodas and Ben thanked the villagers and went to the place where there were dead bodies of the diamond kingdom killed.

Just as they were about to enter the war field, they saw some dead bodies and a knight of the clover kingdom with his sword bathed in blood. They tried their best to see his face but before that, the mysterious knight fled from the battle field and all is left was blood and bodies. But little did he notice that he left a small clue of him on the field which Meliodas found.
