She traced the outline of your belly button. You were asleep on the futon prepared for you before Naraku had ordered you captured so he could devour your soul.
But Kagura had become entranced by you on sight, long/short, (h/c) locks. Magnifying (e/c) pupils and delicious looking (s/c) skin.
You'd often confided in Kaugra as she had promised you safety from Naraku. How she could grant you that she didn't know. But nonetheless she would make it happen. Kagura shifted down beside you. Smirking at your innocent expression you wore while you slept.
Suddenly those (e/c) irises she dreamed about slowly opened. You made soft grunting noises upon awakening. "Can you not sleep my dear?"
You stretched and yawned, "no I can I'm just hungry."
"I'll go get you a snack."
Kagura got up but you pulled her back down. "It's ok I can wait, why are you not asleep?"
Kagura scowled, "Naraku has me awaiting orders for his stupid mission."
You combed your fingers through her midnight coloured strands. "I wish we were free."
The demon woman arched a brow, "we?"
You gave her a warm grin. "Of course I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
You could see her eyes watering, you wiped away the tears forming. "It's ok Kagura I feel the same way you do."
She gave your hand a tight squeeze and said, "tonight. We get out of here tonight." You were dragged along as she shoved open the sliding door and plucked a feather from her bun.
It transformed to a huge feather and you were in the sky within seconds. Soaring far away from Naraku's castle but the evil man noticed and bees and his other lackeys were on you.
"Kagura their coming!"
She glanced behind her and groaned, she attacked the bees. Slicing them in half.
But her victory was short lived as Naraku came misting up quickly beside the giant feather. "I knew you were planning to escape you aren't getting away with my soul."
Kagura looked at your horrified face then back at Naraku. "Yes I am!"
She jumped off the feather and tackled Naraku he misted out of the way.
Leaving Kagura tumbling to her doom, you watched over the edge of the feather. "KAGURA!"
You almost cried when you saw her her sitting on the earth below. Relatively unharmed, her crimson eyes met yours and she said with a tear sliding down her cheek. "Be safe (Y/n)."
Naraku came barreling towards Kagura. You screamed for her to move, "you can't go out like this! I love you! We were meant to spend the rest of our lives together!"
You couldn't see her die.
