We waited there, at the police station for an hour. I was getting upset, I hadn't seen Korra in over two months, never did it cross my mind to worry, how can I say I love...Um yeah, I can't even take care of her! What sort friend am I? By the end of the hour the beginning worry, then guilt now turned to frustration. I couldn't just sit there while someone was being hurt! This is not what Korra would have done!
"Bolin get up! We're through just waiting for news, I'm going to go over to those police officers and give them a piece of my mind. You're coming with me!" Bolin looked at me tiredly.
"You know we can't do that Asami. Lin will throw us out. It's better that we just wait here." He already sounded defeated. I suppose it makes things worse when it's your own brother committing the crime, but I wasn't giving up.
"Is this what Korra would be doing? She would be fighting to help us, and we all know it. It's time we return the favor and help her. Lin and the police will be useless against Mako anyways, they don't know his tricks like you do Bolin. You were on the same probending team! He was my boyfriend! No one knows him and can fight him better then us!" I finally finished, seething.
"Except the police Asami Sato."
"Hi Lin! Um that's what I meant! Is there any news?" She gave me dark glance before answering my question.
"We apprehended the criminal, easily, and the hostage was taken to the hospital. Judging by your faces I'm guessing you're well aware of who exactly that is. The kidnapper is on his way here, I suggest you have a good idea of what you plan to say to Mako when he gets here. if you guys go to the hospital tell her I wish her a speedy recovery, the world needs our Avatar."
