Wundrous Acts

Chapter 1

I say this now, I ship Jack and Morrigan and Hawthorne and Cadence. 

Jim Lake, Claire Nuñez, And Toby Dumbzalski were fighting. Jim's amulet glowed on his chest, covering his blue jumper. Claire's shadow staff glowed black and Toby's warm hammer lifted him into the air.

Claire leapt through a portal And tried to land on the white dragon. The woman on the dragon was Zadeal Le Fay, daughter of Morgana. She ware armour like Morgana's but in silver.

The dragon dodged and shot a blast of pure energy. Claire only just dodged them. Jim lunged when suddenly, a swirling blue thing opened. The lady used magic and Toby fell. Jim grabbed him but slipped. Zadeal had dived through the portal already. Claire missed Jim's arm And he plummeted down. Claire jumped after him.

Hiccup and Astrid fought back to back on the hunters ship. Heather was ramming her shoulder against the door of her and Windshears cadge. Toothless and Stormfly were shooting at the lock, trying to open the door.

They had released all the other dragons, and now only Heather and Windshear remained. Heather had been scouting the area due to claims of Dragon Hunter attacks when she got captured.

The hunters had more in numbers and were slowly pushing the two towards the wall. Rain was falling, making the deck slippery. The dragon blade blazed to life in the darkness of night. Astrid swing out with her axe when a swirling blue thing opened behind her and Hiccup. Heather had just gotten free when the two slipped and fell. Toothless and Stormfly dived for their riders but missed and fell. Heather tried to catch them but a dragon root arrow hit Windshear and the two went spiralling into the portal.

Morrigan Crow opened her eyes sleepily. The morning light seeped through her window and she stood and stretched. The black-haired girl pressed her finger against her Wunsoc door and opened it. She changed into her uniform for the school of Arcane arts. 

She entered the platform to see Cadence and Hawthorne sitting next to each other on the floor. Anah was reading a book about biology of the human body. Thaddea was making heart shaped with her fingers and pointing at Hawthorne and Cadence. Francis was carrying a box of muffins through his doorway. Mahir was helping to stabilise the giant cake Francis also carried. Archan was wiggling his fingers, trying to steal something off the side of the cake. Lambeth was trying to stop Archan, warning Mahir and Francis when the thief was about to eat something off the cake.

Morrigan grinned and sat down beside Hawthorne who was explaining how to hold onto a dragon when doing different tricks. "Hey!" He exclaimed when Morrigan sat down, then came the ringing whistle of Hometrain and it zipped around the corner.

Miss Cheery waved from inside the train cabin. They all climbed in and passed around the biscuit jar. Hawthorne grinned as they arrived at school. He leapt out of hometrain and raced towards Wunsoc. The others followed slowly. Cadence, Morrigan, and Lambeth entered a railpod and entered their levels. Morrigan hurried down a hallway and entered Murgatroyds office. Her Scholar Mistress was standing there, watching her.

"Come on. Hurry up!" She exclaimed, hurrying down a hall. They entered a knee railpod and she pulled the lever going to sub-level nine. They travelled down until reaching the dark, empty halls.

Guys, I heard this theory where the black circle is actually for Wundersmiths. In this, that is true, Morrigan wears a white shirt but it has black buttons and a black tie, siganalling her being in this school. 

A tall woman with long, red hair tied in a neat bun. She watched Morrigan hurry down the hall. Murgatroyd left the Wundersmith there. This teacher was called Professor Raven. The sub-level nine was a school for Wundersmiths, long, long ago. This teacher was the last good Wundersmith left alive, apart from Morrigan herself.

"Sit." The Professor Said, indicating to a chair. Morrigan did. "Now, I Said I would test you today so here we go. What are the Wretched Arts?"

"Nocturne, summoning Wunder using music, Inferno, gripping the anger into flames, Tempus, Veil and weaving." 

"Do Nocturne" 

"Morningtides child is merry And mild, Eveningtides child is wicked and wild" the tingling crept up the girls spine And Wunder appeared in her Hands. The teachers nodded.

After a few hours of testing, Morrigan left the level, grinning. She hadn't failed a single question. She entered the dining hall and raced over to her Units table. Lambeth and Cadence talked to each other, Hawthorne watching Cadence, practically in another world.

Morrigan hit Hawthorne lightly. "Wait? What?" He exclaimed.

"Now I understand Thaddeas teasing." Morrigan murmured.

Thaddea grinned from across the table. "Join the shipping world." She ordered jokingly. Thaddea had changed a lot, she wasn't completely obsessed with fighting anymore, she loved it, but also enjoyed annoying the Unit and shipping. 

Anah was poking at Archan with her spoon because he had stolen her book. Francis had taken it upon himself the cook for them, when suddenly a swirling blue-black portal appeared in the ceiling and people plummeted through it. One was a black haired boy, one a brown haired girl with white in her hair and the other was a round ginger boy. After them came a woman in silver armour riding a white dragon. After that came a blonde girl, brown haired boy and black haired girl, after came three more dragons.

They landed on the floor, except the brown haired girl who created a black and purple portal which she appeared from on the floor. Morrigan dropped her spoon.

"What the hell!" Thaddea exclaimed, clenching her fists. The rest of them all drew various weapons and other things. The newcomers did as well.

"Morningtides child is merry and mild, Eveningtides child is wicked and wild." She kept singing until the familiar feeling crept up her spine and gold threads of Wunder glowed in her hands. 

"Woah! This is odd!" The ginger boy told them.

After a long and boring conversation, they had explained who they were Andy when're they came from. Jim Lake was still in armour and Hiccup was still gripping a metal thing on his belt. They explained the situation to Dearborne and Murgatroyd who excused them. The group sprinted nearly the whole way to reach the Hotel and Jupiter.
