Morissa sat at the edge of her bed observing the poorly decorated room for the last time. She was moving away from the disaster of a life she lived. And couldn't wait to hop on that plane and go. Leaving everything behind. The little things she had that only included her education and the roof she lived under.

"Your uber's here stupid. Get out!" She heard her father say, making her jolt up from her bed and snap her direction towards him. Anger rushing through her body. Keeping it in knowing the consequences she'll receive if she talked back.

"But why would it matter now? He's to poor to catch a flight to New Jersey once I'm gone" she thought to herself, grabbing her things and walking up to him. "You won't be missed William. I hate you!" She snapped at him. Quickly running out of the house. The only things being heard were his shouts as she entered the uber.

She had a grin on her face. A very small and weak one. She was sort of proud at her previous actions. Standing up to her father being one of the things she's never done before.

She promised never to. And she thought she told herself she wouldn't. Guess not!

She arrived at the airport about an hour ago. Her flight boarded in a few minutes and she was anxious. Her breathing was heavy and her palms were sweaty. She was flying alone for the first time. She wasn't scared of Planes, or dying. She was scared of who she sat next too and awkward and uncomfortable conversations.

"Flight too New Jersey boarding now. Again Flight too New Jersey boarding now. Please make your way to gate 234"

She heard the speaker say. Quickly getting up and gathering her things. Checking for gate 234. Soon finding it.

"have a great flight" the flight attendant said. Giving Morissa what she thought was a menu but was a safety manual. She scoffed at her stupid mistake and made her way to her seat.

She was scared at who her flying buddy would be. But after a few minutes she realized she was sitting alone. Making her all happy and excited inside.

She relaxed herself in her seat, and closed her eyes. Hoping to sleep for the next 5 hours.
