She fidgeted with the packet of chocolate ice cream in her hand and looked down at the cookie dough flavoured one kept on the counter. Her lips curled into the cutest pout when she was in the internal conflict of choosing between chocolate or cookie dough ice cream.

The boy beside her stood amused at how much importance she put into just the flavours of ice cream. Not to mention that she clearly said she came here to get some groceries to cook something for Hoseok but instead here she was with him having an internal battle of 'chocolate vs cookie dough'

After Jey and Hoseok's adorable hug session, she said she was eager to make something for her beloved injured friend and upon hearing that Taehyung agreed too. 

After finishing with the groceries they passed an ice cream parlour which excited the little bear boy who was very surprised to see that the new 'cookie-dough-boong-boong' flavour of icecream that was recently launched.
He was excited to try it out and so they both were now standing in Baskin-Robbins.

Taehyung was quite pleased to see Jey glancing and drooling at the icecreams displayed even though she had clearly refused to get ice cream the first time he had asked her. You see, ice cream always does the trick.

"Uh..which one do I choose?", Jey suddenly turned her head around to face him who was standing beside her observing her cute pouts while she had her choco vs cookie war going on.

"I'd say um...go for chocolate?"

A second later her eyes lit up as if she made some genius master plan, or so it looked like one. "I can take chocolate and you are already taking that new cookie dough isn't it? We can always share if you don't mind."

Taehyung was taken a little aback from her forwardness so he blinked his eyes a couple of times yet he could clearly see that she by no means wanted to be rude towards him. The same Jey he last saw, she didn't change.

"Oh yeah. That works too!", he exclaimed giving her a nod of approval.

The ends of her lips curved a lot more showing the dimpling of her cheeks
just as the approval was made. She herself was a bit nervous because of her sudden forwardness, regardless she was glad that he didn't take it to be rude.

They paid for their individual icecreams and headed out of the store.
The ice cream would taste especially good in the warmth of spring and the slight breezy weather that it was today.

They were walking for a short while, much to Taehyung's surprise there was no anxious silence creeping it's way to them. In his experience of living for twenty-five years never had he ever not had awkwardness engulf itself whenever he was around someone new or someone he isn't very familiar with.

Maybe it was the magic that the bluebird put on him, maybe it was her brightening personality and aura that didn't make him uncomfortable.
He smiled to himself, a cute bear-like smile that he usually gives out when he is happy.

"You know... I realised we never had a proper introduction.", Jey broke the little silence as she glanced at a smiling Taehyung.
Before he could even answer she asked another question. "What'chu smiling about? Hm?", He could smell the tease in her voice while she continued to look at him.

"Oh- nothing! Just thought about how you refused to have ice cream at the beginning yet ended up buying three packs.", Taehyung shot back with a grin, tease spewing out of his words.

Her eyes crinkled into a lively crescent moon shape and gave out a huff revealing her pearly white teeth. Smiling in return of answering him back. Just her glowing smile lit up Taehyung's heart.

"Icecream is really irresistible now, isn't it?"

"Yup!", she chuckled while answering him back this time.

"I'm Yoo HaNeul by the way! It's nice to meet you ........?"

"Kim Taehyung, I'm Kim Taehyung. And  yes, it's really nice to meet you too Je- HaNeul ."

"Kim Taehyung? No way! I remember you!", Her eyes lit up the moment he mentioned his name. All the memories of their childhood to their first encounter flooded back to her.

She continued, "Y-your Tae aren't you?!"

"So you do remember me? It's nice to meet you again Jey..."

"Taeeeee! It's been forever! I can't believe this is really you~"

She jumped around cheering her hands up and down, ecstatic to see her childhood friend again.

"I can't believe it either! You still are the same....you still wear blue, Jey.", He let out that one thing he noticed about her all the time. How she always wore blue.

HaNeul's gaze softened and her eyes fell to the ground but only for a split second before she smiled brightly again.
This concerned Taehyung, maybe he said something unintentionally that he shouldn't have.

"I'm still the same Jey you knew! You haven't changed one bit either Tae."

His heart took large leaps upon hearing her call him Tae, oh how much he adored the Blue parrot singing out his name.
