Chapter 3: Getting information

The soldiers handcuffed me and took me to the fire nation. I hated this place almost as much as ba sing se. Why? Maybe because this nation cause a hundred year war that everyone is still fighting. That's why I created a village where refugees can go to be safe. I guess the whole peace thing had to end sometime. I was suddenly interrupted from my thoughts when the soldiers threw me in a cell and said "Don't try anything stupid, you're not getting out of here alive". I'll see about that. I sat up and starred at the ground. What else could I do in this situation? I tried coming up with ways I could escape. I doubt anyone would be willing to just open the door. I sighed. I wish I could just earth bend my way out but that would be impossible for now at least. I was interrupted again when I heard foot steps. I lifted my head up to see the very person who put me in here. I didn't even know her name. Oh well. She started speaking to me. "I'll make this simple for you, either give us all you have or I'll just kill you." I glared at her and said "Like hell I'll give you information, you killed everyone in my village!" "I'll kill you too, Mr. earthbender" she remarked back. "I'll just continue to be a prisoner even if I gave you information." I said. "Smart man." she said to me. "What do you want to know anyway?" I questioned. "I want to know if the avatar has made a stop at your village" she asked. I look at her confused and said "The avatar? Hasn't he been dead for I dunno, a hundred years? "So I'm gonna take that as a no" she said and turned to leave but before she did she said "Oh and you're village is no longer under no rule". Figures, the fire nation would take my village over. They want to control everything. I have to figure out a way to escape or else I'll be done for and I don't plan on dying yet. I pondered ways to escape. There has to be some means of escape.
