Elisabeth regretted yelling instantly. She knew it was a bad idea and probably was out of character for her. So if they had a profile for her, they'd be talking about her right now. Elisabeth slowly sat back down and put her head in her hands. After a few minutes of trying not to cry she hears the door open and her head pops up to see who was entering the cold room. This time it was a different person, she assumed it was an agent based on how he was dressed. He was silent and so was she. he sat down and remained quiet for a few more seconds, until he finally spoke.
"What do have?" He said with intention and a sliver of desperation in his voice.
"Excuse me?" Elisabeth said confused.
"What do you have on this killer? What is your profile?" The Agent said seeming to grow frustrated.
"Wait, you don't think i did it?!" she said excited.
"No , we did, but we don't anymore." he said.
She thought that was ridiculous. What form of evidence or probable cause did they have on her, if any? She hadn't done anything wrong and she knew that.
"I've got quite a bit." Elisabeth said with meek smile. The agent waved with two fingers to the two sided mirror behind him and with in seconds an officer came in and removed the handcuffs that restrained her to the table. The man in front of her stood up and looked at her.
"Come with me, please." he said and started to leave the room.
Elisabeth stood up and followed him. She didn't really know what was happening. She knew that they don't think she did it anymore, but what was happening now. 'maybe he's just sending me home' she thought to herself. Boy oh boy did she think wrong.
After following this nameless agent through many many hallways, they reached an open area with a lot of commotion. There were multiple boards with pictures of victims and things of that nature, phones ringing, people talking, files and paperwork everywhere. It was a scene to take in. She saw a familiar face, Agent Garza. She looked at her and smiled, then went back to reading the files he had in her hands. She continue to follow the man whose back was still to she as he led her to the table Agent Garza was sitting at. This Elisabeth had reason to assume was the B.A.U. The Behavior Analysis Unit.
Elisabeth stood there not knowing what to do. She got a few dirty looks from some agents but she knew that because she was just a suspect. But now what? What is she now?
"Ummm..." she started, " Why am I here now?"
Agent Garza stood up and walked over to her and stoped right next to her putting a arm around her while the other arm pointed at her team.
"You're gonna help us." Garza said.
"What?" She said confused.
The still nameless agent stood up and spoke.
"After we arrested you we went to your house and saw the investigation you had, initially we thought it was to track your progress or a method of picking your next victim, but after Agent Garza talked to you she saw that clearly you didn't kill anyone cause you don't fit the profile of a killer. Let alone serial killer."
"oh well, thanks?" Elisabeth says.
"So my Protegé , what do you have on this killer?" Agent Garza says.Elisabeth smiles and says "well..."
