" I've gotten the contract and offhand, it looks alright, " I was telling Kim Ha-Eun, representative of Park Min Young's agency.
" So will you be interested to do this TV series with Rachel again? " Ha-Eun wants to know, referring to Min Young's English name.
I rubbed my neck as I leaned against the sofa. " Look, you shouldn't really be calling me about this, Ha-Eun. You know that my agency will have a say on this. And right now, we haven't talked about anything yet. "
" But there shouldn't be any issues, right? " Ha-Eun continued to press. " Rachel and you have done Healer together and it was a great success. I don't see why Spotlight will not be interested in working with us or agreeing that you partner up with Rachel once again. "
I was about to say something when I saw Anne coming down from the staircase.
Something caught in my throat at the sight of her all dressed up for tonight's gala dinner for our TV drama's premier airing.
She was wearing a peach semi-sequined sleeveless gown that highlighted her olive skin. It has a modest neckline and it hugged her small waist perfectly. It has a low back and an oversized ribbon hung elegantly behind her.

Her hair was hanging loose, curled at the ends. One side was clipped with a silver barrette while the other side cascaded freely below her shoulders.
She was wearing light make-up but her jet black eyes and long lashes were given more emphasis.
I've seen Anne in a lot of outfits during our shoots. I've even seen her in a wedding gown during our promo shoot. But tonight, as I watched her lift her dress and carefully climbed down the staircase, the sight of her just blew me away.
" Ha-eun, I need to go, " I told the woman on the other line.
Without waiting for a reply, I ended the call and quickly jumped on my feet. Anne has reached the landing step by the time that I appeared at her side.
" Wow, " I said in amazement as I looked at her. " You look amazing. "
She smiled at me, her eyes sparkling as she did. " Thank you, "
I couldn't help but lean forward as I lightly brushed my lips against hers, careful not to ruin her lipstick.
" You don't look so bad yourself, " she grinned at me when we parted. She reached out to wipe lipstick stains off my mouth. " In fact, you look good with my lipstick on. "
I chuckled and then offered my arm to her. " Shall we, Ms. Martinez? "
She entwined her arm with mine as we walked out of her house and into the black stretched limousine that was waiting for us by her front door.
The moment that we stepped out of the house, we heard screams coming from her iron gates. There were camera flashes and I tapped Anne's arm reassuringly when I felt her hand tightened around my arm.
