Wait...You were awake?!- IkeShot fluff

Here's the fluff I promised! Sorry its shorter than my other ones! I'll try and write a third story today at least to make up for it!!)

Ike and Hotshot had been living together for a few weeks, they were officially a couple but hadn't said "I love you" to each other just yet. They lived in a small apartment in Brooklyn and were still moving in so they didn't have much furniture in there yet. They had a bed and a couch and that was about it. 

It was around midnight and Ike was laying on Hotshots chest. Hotshot was sure he was asleep. He rubbed his back softly for awhile before lightly tracing "I love you" on his back. He'd been wanting to say that to him but he was always nervous about it.

He kept his other arm around Ike, holding him close. Ike had his head laid on the left side of Hotshot's chest just so Ike could hear his heartbeat. He had his eyes closed and a small smile on his face. He smiled a little more realizing what Hotshot was tracing on his back. 

Hotshot traced those words for awhile before he started dozing and his arms slowly stopped and just rested on Ike's back. He slowly closed his eyes.

Ike knew Hotshot was falling asleep and cuddled a bit closer, nuzzling his head tiredly under Hotshots chin. He opened his eyes a little, looking up to him.

"I love you too 'Shot" Ike smiled tiredly, keeping his voice soft

Hotshot turned bright red and opened his eyes

"Wait...Ike you were awake the whole time?!" He asked, shocked

Ike chuckled "The entire time!" 

"Why am I not surprised?" Hotshot jokes

"Because you love me! And you know I'm a dork" Ike jokes

"I do love you and you are a dork...but you should get some sleep Ike..." Hotshot said softly

Ike nodded and after a bit the two fell asleep, all cuddled up to each other.
