The Tape

Veronica POV:

I arrived back to Pembrooke after a date with my beloved Archie.

Ah Archie. Sure he may have cheated on me once, but that was all in the past. There is no way he loved anyone more than me. 

"Mija!" Daddy called. Yes, he was still living here. I have already planned for an escape. I would escape from the walls of Pembrooke, and the out of the grasp of my Father's hands. I've already planned it out and I would go live with Archie until further notice. 

"Yes Daddy." my monotone voice clearly gave my father a sign that I was annoyed but he wouldn't take no for an answer. 

"I have to attend to some business. The St. Clair's are back in town."

"What!" I slammed my hands on his table, "You can't do business with the St. Clair's! They hurt Cheryl! They hurt me!"

"I understand that. Which is why, while they are in town, you will have two bodyguards with you at all time." 

I turn around and see two buff men with black suits on. They had sunglasses and I could see the gun on them. 

"No, no, no! No way are two bodyguards following me around for the rest of the day!"

"You're right. Let's make that four, you can pick the other two."

"That's not what I meant." I sighed. The look on my cruel father's face said that he was not butting from his decision. 

"I'm going to bed."

"Alright! Also there's a package in the living room for you."

"Another Voyeur tape?" 

"Could be. Can you watch it?"

"Sure."

If you are wondering, my mother and my beloved  sister are out of town on business. They are handling business with the Hargreeves back in New York. 

I grabbed a glass of water, changed into my PJ's and sat down in front of the TV. Well, projector. We have our very own small theater room in our house which is a nice bonus to being rich. I put the tape into the VR player and turned it on. 

The tape showed Archie's garage. 

Huh probably accidentally gave me the wrong tape. 

I kept watching until Betty and Archie came into view. It looked as if they were practicing. 

But practice was cancelled that day. 

I look at the time stamp.

Right after our fight. 

I kept watching until the very end. 

No, no, no, no! This can't be happening! 

I opened my phone and called the one person I could call, 

Toni.

Jughead POV:

Finally! Meeting is over. 

The meeting went on about how we were going to take down Penny Peabody. Yup, Penny's back. Fangs saw her during patrol. But at the end of the meeting Kevin, who is now a serpent, told me the most shocking news of all. 

Nick St. Clair, is back. Cheryl fainted but quickly woke up again. We immediately talked on how we were going to protect ourselves form him. 

"He did so much to me!" Cheryl exclaimed. You could see the redness in her eyes. 

"I want to make him pay for touching my girlfriend." Toni slammed her hands on the pool table. 

A lot had changed. I didn't want to say it but I had changed. Betty stopped coming to Serpent meetings because they started to get more, and more evil. I had more strength and was more rude. I would be seriously overprotective if someone even touched a Serpent. After this had continued I saw my self turn into a Mafia. No I hadn't actually killed someone but there were near cases.

  Kevin took out his phone and showed us our motivation. 

Who knew Richard St Clair and Penny Peabody would be lovers.

If you think Nick's bad then you haven't seen the end of it. Nick's father Richard had slaughtered an entire gang just for stealing a few packs of drugs. And the worst part? He got away with it. Just like Hiram Lodge.

"If this is true then we need to strike. We have to take down both Richard and Penny. How long is Richard going to be here?"

"My guess? About a week."

Toni's phone rang. 

"Sorry guys I have to take this..." she said confused.

"Then we have a week to take them down. Dismissed."

Back at the Cooper's House

Charles, Betty, and Alice were both sitting on the couch watching TV. FP was working on a case at the dining table with Jellybean who was doing her homework. 

"Hey Jug! Where were you?"

"I was at the Serpent meeting. You know, the one you missed?"

"That was today!?! I'm so sorry! I promise I'll make it up to you!"

"There is one way you can make it up to me..."

"Oh yeah?" She smirked at me. 

I walked over to the kitchen to go get some food. On the kitchen island was a package. 

"Hey guys? Was there another tape sent today?"

"Yeah! I was going to review it but got caught up at the station. Can you check it out?" Charles shouted from the living room. 

"Sure."

I grabbed a bunch of chips and popcorn and went up to my room. 

I inserted the tape into my small TV that I put in Betty and I's room. 

The screen came up and showed footage of Archie's garage. 

Archie and Betty suddenly came into view singing. 

Are they okay? 

At what seemed like the end of the song the kissed.

My eyes widdened. I replayed it over and over again. 

Betty and Archie kissed. My phone suddenly rang.
