The trio walk down the street, looking for the victim's girlfriend, Amy. Nakota sees a girl putting up missing posters across the street, each of them having Troy's picture on them. She nudges her brothers before nodding to the girl. "I'll bet you that's her."
"Yeah." Sam agrees. The three cross the street and approach the girl.
"You must be Amy." Dean says, causing the girl to turn around, looking the siblings up and down before answering.
"Yeah."
"Yeah, Troy told us about you." Dean continues. "We're his uncles. I'm Dean, this is Sammy. And this is his aunt, Nakota."
"He never mentioned you to me." Amy says before walking away to hang up more posters. The three walk with her, staying a step behind her.
"Well, that's Troy, I guess." Dean says with a small shrug and a smile. "We're not around much, we're up in Modesto."
"So, we're looking for him, too, and we're kinda asking around." Sam interjects. Another girl walks up and puts a hand on Amy's arm.
"Hey, are you okay?" She asks. Amy gives her a small nod.
"Yeah."
"You mind if we ask you a couple questions?" Nakota asks.
The group walks into a diner and sit at a booth. Amy and her friend Rachel sit on one side while the Winchesters occupy the other, squeezing Nakota between the two boys.
"I was on the phone with Troy." Amy starts. "He was driving home. He said he would call me right back, and... he never did."
"He didn't say annoying strange or out of the ordinary?" Nakota asks gently, getting a shake of the head in response.
"No. Nothing I can remember." She says. Nakota's phone rings just as Sam says something about Amy's necklace.
"Excuse me, ladies." She says, nudging her twin out of the booth, making him huff as he scoots out. Nakota stands and Dean thumps her on the back of the head as she walks by, making her turn and glare at him before turning back around. She glances at the name on her phone screen as she opens the device and puts it to her ear. "Caleb, hey."
"Everything okay, love?"
"Yeah." She says. "We were just interviewing our victim's girlfriend. Do you need something?"
"You're in Jericho, right?" Nakota's brow furrows slightly.
"Yeah." She says slowly, a hint of suspicion in her tone. "Why?"
"Well, I haven't found a case of my own and thought you might need some help. So, I'm an hour outside of town." He says. Nakota sighs and glances over her shoulder, glaring at her twin through the window. He must have called when she was parking the car.
"Caleb, you really don't need to do that." She tells him. "We can handle it on our own."
"Well, regardless, I'll be there in an hour." The huntress rolls her eyes, letting out a deep sigh.
"There's no convincing you otherwise, is there?" She asks, already knowing the answer. He could be just as stubborn as she is.
"Nope." He confirms. "Just give me the name of your motel and I'll meet you there."
"We actually haven't gotten a motel yet so just call me when you get here, and I'll let you know our location." She tells him.
"Alright. And I expect a big kiss and some hot reunion sex when I get there." Nakota laughs and shakes her head.
