Coffee house AU

Jungkook is in line waiting for coffee and Tae is standing behind him. Jungkook bumped into his ex when he came in and said he was meeting his boyfriend and when he sees him staring, he slips his hand into Tae's to pretend that Tae is his current partner problem is Jimin is the barista behind the counter.

Jungkook had wanted to visit this cafe for weeks now ever since he heard it had opened. He knew it would be popular; he just didn't realize how popular. Now that he had arrived, he was standing in the long queue waiting for the opportunity to try some of the "best coffee in town," and well, a slice of cake wouldn't hurt. Jungkook was floating high and bouncing in place as he looked around. The rumors he heard involved a very hot barista that could make a custom drink, that everyone loved simply by looking at a person. To be on the safe side he scanned the menu repeatedly in case the barista didn't feel like making him a special drink. The excitement was mounting until he was knocked back by a broad shoulder.

"Hey, watch where your standing people are trying to leave!"

Kook frozen, his mouth slightly open while he mentaly freaked out. Jinsung his ex-boyfriend. His first and last one was standing right in front of him. The last time Jungkook saw him he was sneering at him while Jungkook was crying before he walked out of their shared apartment leaving him with double the rent and no way out of a lease.

"Look bun it isn't you. I just needed someone who could satisfy me more and well you were too," he waved at Kook up and down, "you. I mean my God I couldn't even mention the word sex without you turning into a blushing, blubbering mess. Or worse crying like you are now. It's too bad you will never find anyone to like you like I did or put up with your clinginess."

It was the worst feeling in the world. When he had finally pulled himself together enough to call his hyungs Namjoon and Yoongi. They had rushed right over as he sat in Namjoon's arms crying harder.

"Total piece of shit is what he is." Yoongi was growling and pacing in his living room. "There is nothing wrong with you Koo. Who the fuck is he to say that shit. You are perfect the way you are that asshat."

"Maybe he was right?" He had been crying for hours, his voice was raw and his eyes were puffy. By then he also had the hiccups. "I mean he was my first, maybe I should have tried harder for him."

"Oh Koo," Namjoon squeezed him tighter as he petted his hair, "you should never have to try harder to please someone in that area. He should have respected your wishes. Instead he treated you like an asshole. No, he never should have said those words and he never should have cheated on you with someone else."

They were right of course and after the breakup Jinsung had left him alone this whole time. Never once bothering him, going so far as to completely ignore him when they ran into each other on campus. He even pretended to not see him once. Yet here in the one place Jungkook had been looking forward to, here he wanted to acknowledge his presence.

"Jungkook! Look at you, little bunny." Jinsung smirked when he saw Jungkook turn red before he looked around, "Why are you so flustered, bun?" He reached up like he was going to touch him and Jungkook visible flinched.

"I-I" Jungkook looked further into the shop, hoping he would see someone he knew. If not, he could use someone who would rescue him, 'I was looking for," lighting up when he saw the gorgeous man he may or may not have stalked after having one art class. His dark hair was under a brown beret, with bits and pieces peeking out. The beret looked like it might fall off if he tilted his head any further to the side while he reviewed the menu. He had that boxy grin on his face, the one that made Jungkook sigh throughout class over. His eyes scanning back and forth as he read the menu.
