I was in the middle of sweeping the floor in the afternoon again since there was dust that I saw when I heard the door bell ring.

I walked towards it and opened the door to see the messenger named Baekhyun. I smiled and asked," Hi Baekhyun! What mail do we have today?"

He smiled then handed me a envelope with a seal and said," Its an invitation from the king to attend a ball this Friday to get the Prince to meet his partner. Everyone who is interested is invited"

I blinked and asked," He is bisexual right? Prince Junhui? So guys and girls can both go?" I was interested and honestly going to a ball sounded amazing.

Baekhyun laughed and nodded," Yes! Even you can go with your other step-siblings! Okay sorry Minghao I have to go! Make sure to tell your family about this" Then he waved at me and quickly rushed away to the next house to give the same message.

I then walked in the house while opening he envelope where then Ten saw the letter. Then he snatched it from my hand and asked," Ooh what is this? A letter from the Royal family?"

Then Tzuyu heard and ran next to her older brother and read the letter then squealed," No way! The Prince is finding a lover this Friday at a ball and all genders are welcome! What a lucky chance since your gay"

Ten laughed and looked towards my direction," I heard from Jackson before that he is gay too but of course you aren't going. Not like the a prince will like a ugly looking idiot like you. You will be helping us look our best for the Prince. Can you imagine? Prince Junhui and Prince Ten"

Amber laughed whole-heartily," ah yes if any of you are chosen then we can all be in the royal family and be even more wealthy. Now come on! Let's go shop for some new things and then try to find some things in our closets! We must have you two look your best! This is a great opportunity for our family"

Then she starred at me and said," And Cinderhao, I am saying this and making it completely clear. You will not to come to the ball alright? I will not let this opportunity for my children be lost by you. Wearing rags, liking animals and just to be used for cleaning. Now go shuffle off and clean while we will be going shopping and preparing to get ready for this ball!"

The three of them rushed out the door with money and their bags leaving me behind. I sgihed then started cleaning around the living room then went to my room. I walked towards the closet to see a suit from my dad. It was a expensive suit that he wore before. There was no tie or snything it wascsimple but I could easily repair it.

I saw some ties that Ten didn't wear anymorre and some old dress shoes from him too. I grabbed those and went to the animals.

"Hi Minghao! Wow that looks cool! Are you going to be going somewhere?" One of the birds named Lisa asked

I smiled and nodded," There is a ball that is held by King Luhan to help Prince Junhui find a lover and I want to go. Of course step-mother and Ten and Tzuyu don't want me too but I want to at least try to sneak out and go"

Amother bird named Jennie chirped and said," Yes! Jisoo called NCT Dream mice to help with the dress shoes while we wil try to repair some parts of the suit and the tie!"

Jisung and Renjun immeditly got some sewing tools while the other mice would go and try o assist them. I smiled and then went to pick some earrings to go with it. They matched the suit and I was practically delighted with how the suit looked.

"Go try it on!" Jaemin another one of the mice exclaimed and I nodded super excieted on how it would look and tried on the suit making the animals cheer on how he looked. It was  different than the usual things that he wore. Well, not like he had anything nice to wear in the first place.

I was extremely satisfied with how it looked. I heard the door open and quickly took it off and hid it in my room before anyone could find it. Then I quickly got ready to go to sleep without any interruptions, excited for the ball in the day after tomorrow.
