Normally I would start this off really quick ( hehe ) but let me give some context. This is partially based on true events, but turned into something passionate and not reluctantly forced. Keep in mind that what happens in this writing is the exact opposite of what actually occurred

Part one: The Party

Five thirty on the dot I set foot outside my house for the first time in what felt like weeks or even months,  to walk myself over to the building beside my house where a good friends' 15th birthday party would be held. My boots thudded on the gravel road as I looked down at my phone, letting my friend Leslie know I'd be there shortly. As I neared the building, fast , rhythmic music could be heard from inside.  I clutched my bag, fearing the day would only get worse. What if no one talked to me? I don't know how to dance!

A man scurried to open the steal door and politely tipped his hat as I smiled. Immediately I recognized a group of people and nervously walked over to them. A guy who id only met once stared at me, a warm, welcoming grin taking up most of his face. I had to admit, he was quite handsome and looked only a few years older than me. Maybe 18?
He patted the seat next to him which happened to be the only one open. His younger brother who I knew well raised his eyebrows at me. " oh shut up " I mumbled while sitting down next to him. It was silly to even think that he had taken a liking to me.
" what's your name? "
" Lana ... and yours?"
"Gilbert. I've seen you around a lot. You walk to the gas station beside my house. You're kinda cute"
I felt my face turn red and he laughed. Such a nice, smooth laugh that trickled down my spine and made me feel warm and fuzzy.

I felt a sudden urge to be brave and before I could even back out of my decision I said " would you like to dance. I'm not that great at it, but it would be fun!"
To my surprise he accepted and took my hand
The rest of the night was a blur.
We danced until it felt like my feet were gonna fall off. He even got jealous when I went and had a turn with my friend Leslie.  I thought that it was quite amusing to see him giving her the death stare .
After hours of dancing, he asked me if I'd like to go over to his place to hangout with him and his brother.
Of course I said yes! I was excited and hadn't been thinking of any bad outcome. I was safe with him right? Nothing bad would happen, I reassured myself.
