"So glad to finally be back in a place that's more normal. " I rejoiced.

" Lydia, I know you been through a lot. I couldn't have you believe those lies." Explained Bren.

" Bren. I believe you. I had my suspicions. Dave got my parent's names wrong & I'm not dumb. I studied about blood types in college. He got the blood transfusion wrong as well. Thank you for saving me and everything you have done for me.  You barely know me and didn't have to do as much as you did. You could have left me back there.  I'm not trying to sound selfish, I just want life to be more normal and to breathe." I informed him.

" I have a surprise for you!" beamed Bren, as I saw a familiar face come through the door.

" Lydia, I missed you so much. And before you protest, I'm fine living life this way. It's what your mom would have done and wanted me to. " shouted Aunt Harlow.

" I barely recognized you. I love your hair!" I marveled putting my hands through her new color and style.

" Alright sadly we have to get down to business. No where is safe. The agency, I'm with is going to help keep both of you safe as best as we can. Both of you are going to have different names and occupations along the way and live in lots of places. From here on out, you are ghosts. This is how both of you will be remembered leaving this world. " He ordered handing us the newspaper article.

I couldn't believe we made front page. I pulled it up on Bren's laptop as well.

According to the article we died in a tragic accident and my aunt tried to save me.  Article stated:                                                                                                                                                                              Lydia Brown and Harlow Watkins killed in a tragic car accident. There was a recall on Harlow's car for a malfunction and that malfunction is what  killed them. Phone call records show that Harlow got a text late in the night that her niece was in trouble and needed her. As they were on the way home, Harlow lost control of the car and because of the malfunction the car exploded killing both instantly. There will be a memorial service in a few days regarding their passing.

" This should confirm any suspicions on both of us. " I agreed.
