"Hazel Monet Black. If you don't get down from that damn counter imma beat yo ass." I yelled and she rolled her eyes but got down.
"I'm staying with you forever right uncle V?" She came and hugged my leg.
"No Haz. You gotta go back with mommy at some point." I picked her up and she started crying.
"I don't like mommy! She keep telling me to shut up so kel no hear me." Hazel pouted and I scrunched up my face.
"Who is Kel Haz? Do he do anything to you?" She shook her head and I took a deep breath.
"Mommy just lock me in my room all day so Kel no get mad at her. She take me here cs Kel stay over there long time." She shrugged and I looked at her confused. For a 4 year old she sure do pay attention.
"Okay Haz. What you want for lunch?" I sat her down and she shrugged.
"Can we go to pizza place and see jai again?" She asked and I shook my head. It was only once and it was honestly a accident.
"No. How about we make a pizza here?" I asked and she smiled.
"Can we invite Jai?" She looked at me hopeful and I rolled my eyes.
"Let's see if she can make it." I pulled out my phone and hesitated to call her.
"Hello?" She answered the phone while tryna catch her breath. Damn she getting down like that?
"Hey Hazel tryna see you. You tryna come over here?" I asked and it was silence for a little.
"Yeah imma finish this workout and take a shower. Send me the address." I nodded and she hung up. I wonder what kind of workout.
"Uncle V? You no like Jai?" She scrunched up her face and I sighed.
"I didn't say that Haz. I just wasn't planning on getting to know her." I shrugged and she nodded. I went to the freezer and got a frozen pizza out and looked at the instructions.
1 hour later
*knock knock*
I walked to the door and saw Jai standing there with grocery bags and a smile.

"My bad. Hazel wasn't very good at spelling everything you like on your pizza." She chuckled and I looked at her confused.
"What you talking bout?" I asked and she walked in.
"Hi Jai! Did you get my ice cweam?" Hazel ran from the back with my phone in her hand and I shook my head.
"Hey Hazel Basil! Yes I got your ice cream and your gummy worms." She giggled and walked to the kitchen.
"I'm still confused as to when you got my phone." She giggled and ran to the kitchen behind Jai. I walked in and there was a whole set up on the counter.
