2 weeks later
Von POV

It's yo nigga Von birthday or whatever! Finally 20 mfs!

"Good morning daddy. Today is your day so we can do whatever you want to do until 6. At 6 we gotta go." I nodded and she bit her lip.

"I know exactly what I want first." I flipped us over and she giggled.

2 hours later
Jai POV

"Happy Birthday daddy." I collapsed on my stomach and he chuckled.

"Sure is a happy birthday." He pulled me next to him and I kissed his cheek.

"Come on. Let's get ready for the day." I got up and limped to the bathroom. He came in right after me and sat on the counter.

"Do we really have to do anything? I would rather just stay here with you" he smiled and I shook my head.

"No! We gotta do something eventful! Like go to the movies or the mall or at least help me make something for lunch or breakfast?" I smiled and he sighed.

"I can help with breakfast mama." He hopped down and I got up and washed my hands. He ran back in the room and picked me up. "Come on slow poke." He ran downstairs and I laughed.

"Put me down!" I laughed and he put me down and kissed me. "Nope. Ik you what you're doing. Help me cook." I got away from him and pulled out all the stuff I needed to cook.

3 hours later

We cooked and got dressed and now we're headed to the mall. I made a deal with myself that's we would only go in stores that he wants to go in and if I want something, just pray that it's here tomorrow.

"Where to first?" I asked and he shrugged.

"Wherever you want to ma." He pulled me closer to him and I shook my head.

"No. Wherever you want to go. What about footlocker?" He nodded and we headed up the escalator. We went in footlocker and he got 3 pairs of shoes.

3 hours later

"Come on bae!" Von yelled from the hallway as I put on my heels. We're kinda late to his birthday dinner but it's fine.

I was on my way downstairs when smb knocked on the door. Von opened the door and it was the police.

"DayVon Bennett? You're under arrest for the Murder of George Brown." The cops handcuffed him and I widened my eyes.

"What the hell? No y'all can't do this!" I tried to walk out but a cop pushed me back in the house.

"Aye get yo hands off her! Can you let me speak to her yo?" The police officer walked him back to the door and he sighed. "I'll explain later but I love you okay mama?" I nodded and hugged him and kissed him before they started pulling him away.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" I yelled and slammed the door closed. This is some bullshit. On his fucking birthday? Really?!

I called everybody and told them what happened and now everybody is here.

"Nigga killed that hoe 2 years ago. And they still came after his ass? Bullshit." May shook her head and I sighed.

"Y'all I'm gonna go to bed. I'm sorry I had to cancel the dinner. Y'all looked nice tho." I said on the verge of tears and I went upstairs.

"Awww JaiJai!" Tj came upstairs and hugged me. He's not very good at emotions.

"Tim they just took him away like it was nothing!" I hugged him back and he sat us down on the bed.

"It's okay Jai. He's gonna be out in no time. I promise." I nodded and he held me. I jumped up and ran to the bathroom and threw up.

"Tj can you get out real quick?" He nodded and walked out. Ik I'm pregnant. It was supposed to be a fucking surprise for his birthday.

"You okay Jai?" Tay and Riyah came in and so pulled them in the bathroom and locked the door.

"Y'all... I'm pregnant." I played with my fingers and Tay widened her eyes and Riyah scrunched up her face.

"Jai! Jaaiii. JAI!" They both said at the same time and I shook my head. First they were happy then sad then mad.

"Bitch why tf would you not tell us?" Riyah mugged and I shook my head.

"It was gonna be a surprise for Vons birthday..." I cried and they both sighed.

"It's okay Jai. We're gonna figure this out." Tay shook her head and I nodded.
