Chapter 6~ Healing
"Ciel!" I rush out of my tent in nothing but a thin and short black night gown. It was spaghetti strapped with black lace on the bottom. I wore black thigh high stockings but I was freezing. Frantically I search for Ciel, "I told him to stay in bed! His condition...HIS ASTHMA!"
I run until I hear coughing coming from behind a tent. I look over and see Ciel talking with Sebastian. His coughing is progressively getting worse while his face is terribly flushed, his fever!
"Ciel!" I am right behind him as I said this so no one could hear. He turns and looks at me with wide eyes.
"S-Siren!" he coughs again, "Wh-What are you d-doing h-here?"
"Your condition is getting progressively worse and all you have to say for yourself is 'what are you doing here?' you and I both know you need rest or else something bad will happen." I ranted frantically.
"I-I'm f-" he coughs and coughs and coughs until he throws up.
"Ciel!"
"Young Master!"
I quickly catch Ciel as he falls into unconsciousness, "Sebastian help me take him to the doctor, he has asthma and with his condition he could die. Come on!"
Sebastian quickly picked up Ciel and followed me as I led them to the medical tent.
"Doc! It's Smile! He collapsed and I don't know what happened!" I tried to act ignorant as Doc swiftly rolled over to us and began treating Ciel.
After sometime Ciel's condition got mildly better, but he still had a high fever and wasn't awake.
"He has asthma, if you didn't bring him here his chances of getting better were very slim, his chances of surviving even slimmer," Doc told Sebastian while I sat on the bed where Ciel slept.
"We have been together for two years and I have not seen him in this sort of condition, he never showed his sickness as if he never had it," Sebastian stated sounding shocked.
'Stupid demon!' I scowled angrily.
"Yes well it seemed that he was basically cured, but sometimes patients have relapses when their conditions worsen from sickness." Doc explained.
Ciel started to shift on the bed, he was dreaming, "Aunt Ann..." he murmured so quietly that I almost didn't hear him.
"It looks like he's hallucinating, I wonder. I had a medicine that was meant for this sort of thing, now where did I put it?" Doc started searching his supplies. I got up and got some water, still worried about what would happen to him.
When I returned I saw Ciel tapping on Sebastian's hand giving him orders through morse code. I smirked slightly before I interrupted.
Sebastian had just left while I gave Ciel some water, "Here, get some rest." I whispered.
"I-" he tried but I gave him a look that said not to try anything.
"Do know how scared I was? I told you to rest and you didn't listen! You even left secretly!" I whispered angrily, "I'm not going to forgive you until you get better! That means rest and healing!" I continued.
He looked at me pleadingly and I sighed while sitting down next to him, "You are lucky you still have a chance of earning back the little trust that you lost from pulling this stunt," I ran my fingers through his hair, "Get some rest, I'll stay here until you wake up..." I kissed his forehead and watched his eyelids close.
"You're so stubborn..." I smiled to myself before I climbed into the bed next to him and fell asleep.
