CHAPTER 2: TEMPORARY PEACE

===The Next Day===

~~~Herobrine's P.o.V.~~~

I woke up, and saw Dad, still asleep, his arm and wing over my body. I watched his calm breaths. Then, he woke up, his red eyes glinting softly at me.

"Good morning, son...", he smiled.
"Good morning too, Dad...", I smiled back.

We both stood up, and went down.

"Oh, good morning Mom, Grandpa!", Sebrina greeted.
"Good morning, Hunny, Dad...", Steve smiled.

Then, I saw the Wither Skeleton cook come in, serving food.

"Nice food!", Sebrina squealed, sitting on the chair.
"Thanks!", she added to the cooks.

The cooks bowed, smiling, and walked away.

We sat down.

"Mom, Dad... Let's eat!", she smiled.

And we ate. As we were eating...

"Um, Dad? Let's have an outing in the Overworld for a while.", she suggested.
"Sure sweetie... When should we go?", Steve asked.
"Maybe tomorrow!", Sebrina squealed.
"Okay, okay... But... Wait... Where's (Y/n)?", Steve asked.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"Don't ask me...", I said.
"I don't know...", Dad answered.
"I didn't see him/her since last night.", Sebrina added.

Just then, we heared footsteps.

"Good morning, guys!"

I sighed, seeing (Y/n), rubbing his/her (e/c) eyes, yawning.

"Good morning too, (Y/n)...", I greeted back.
"Well, what's for breakfast?", he/she asked, sitting beside Sebrina.

"Steak! Wait... Do you have catsup?", Ina said.
"I do happen to have some... Seems like I never ran out of catsup in my inventory...", he/she said, pulling out a pack of catsup.
"Yess! Thanks!", Ina squealed, snatching the pack away from (Y/n)'s hands.

I giggled, with Steve.

"Catsup's your favorite now...", Steve smiled.
"Yeah! Because it's delicious!", she said.
"Well, just enjoy food...", Dad butted in.

And we just ate.

===After Eating and Changing Clothes===

I sighed, walking to the office.

"Well, I missed the office, sitting for hours, checking papers...", I said.
"But I missed the office, where we always look at the cameras, and I was beeping your nose...", someone butted in.

I turned around, seeing a smirking Steve.

"Oh, you're here...", I sighed in relief, as I continued walking.
"Of course...", he whispered, hugging me from behind.

And we walked to our office...

===Office===

As we opened the door, we saw a stack of papers on our desks.

"Duty after all...", I smiled, sitting on my chair.

I grabbed my ballpen, took one paper, and sighed, I signed it.

Just then, a pair of big, warm arms surrounded me, and something touch my neck. I giggled, pushing Steve away from me.

"Shut it out, Master Perv...", I playfully groaned.
"No Hunny...", he hissed, sucking my neck.

I giggled again, facing him.

"No...", I sternly said.
"Yes...", he insisted, sitting on my thigh, while kissing my neck.
