CHAPTER 13: THE MASQUERADE

===The Next Day===

~~~His Majesty, King Steve's P.o.V.~~~

I woke up, seeing Sebrina's face very near mines, a wide smile on her lips.

I screamed in shock, grasping my chest.

"Dad! You okay?", Ina asked, pulling off me.

I panted, clutching my chest.

"You gave me heart attacks!", I panickedly groaned.
"I'm sorry, Daddy dear...", she pouted, hugging me.

Just then, I realized that she was wearing a sparkly, purple gown.

"What's the occation?", I asked.
"There's a masquerade!", she excitedly said.
"In the morning?", I asked, bewildered, as I rubbed my still-heavy eyelids.
"Dad, it was just ten at night!", Ina groaned.

I looked around, then at Ina.

"Where's your Mom?", I asked.
"Oh, he was preparing now.", Ina smiled.

I nodded, as I lazily sat up, and slid over my bed.

"Dad, can't you go any faster!?", Ina impatiently groaned.
"Why, do you have an outing or something?", I sleepily groaned.
"Just... Just hurry up!", Ina said.

I nodded, and stood up.

I took a look at my dresser, and took out a red tuxedo, with white undershirt, and black pants. I chose a red bowtie.

I also got a pair of black shoes. I changed my clothes.

===Le Timeskip===

I sighed, as I stepped out of my dresser.

Sebrina gasped, seeing me.

"Wow, Dad! You're so... You're so awesome and handsome!!!", Ina squealed, jumping and arranging my clothes.

I giggled at her reaction.

"Thanks...", I smiled.
"Come on, we'll go now! Netheria is waiting!", she squealed, as she pulled me out of the room.

I followed her...

===Main Hall===

I gasped, seeing many visitors, in their splendid clothes.

Just then, I saw Herobrine, standing beside Dad, having a conversation.

I marveled at what I saw.

Herobrine was wearing a sparkly, red, off-shoulder gown.

Not so different from his royal gown, but it was very splendid.

I neared him.

"You're so... Beautiful, my Queen...", I smiled.

Herobrine giggled, looking up at me with those softly-glowing white eyes.

"Thank you... And you look so handsome in that tuxedo, my King.", he smiled back.

Dad smiled up at me.

He was wearing a black tuxedo, pants, shoes, and a white undershirt. He also had a red necktie.

"You look so great in that tuxedo, Steve...", he said.
"You too, Dad...", I smiled.

He giggled, tapping my shoulder.

And, Ina went between us.

"Well, the masquerade ball will start a few minutes from now! If I were you, I'd prepare a speech...", she smiled.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"Well, okay then...", I said.

Just then, I saw Sebrina's suitors, General Jameson, and Prince Entity of Endenia.
