Chapter 9

"Bye, mom!" I waved and left the house. She waved back. I took the public bus to Le Fancy Place. Its place I was asked to meet Russell. I'm so nervous.

[At Le Fancy Place]

I went in and Russell waved to me. I went in and sat down awkwardly. "So.." I said. "What would you like to order?" He asked. I looked the at menu. "I'd like Fried Rice." I responded. He nodded and called for the waiter. "I'd like one curry chicken with rice and fried rice for the beautiful lady." He said.

I blushed a little. "Your order will be ready in 10 minutes." The waiter said. I took out my phone and went Facebook. I wrote :

Status Update : At Le Fancy Place with Russell. Feeling Nervous 😣

I posted it and immediately got a like from Emma Johnson. She commented ,"Go get him!" Heh. Heh. This is embarrassing. The waiter came by and placed the fried rice infront of me. I ate it really politely since Russell was here ,if not I would like gobble it up.

A few minutes later, Russell's curry chicken and rice came. "Mhm! This is good. "He said as he took a bite of his chicken. "Yah. I know." I said ,eating my fried rice.

[After the eating]

"I'll pay!" I said. "No! Me!" Russell rejected. I knew this was going to last all night so I just gave in. After that, "Thank you for the date." I said. "No problem!" He smiled and said. I kissed his cheek and waved good - bye.

I could see his face turn bright red as he waved back. What a great night!
