Madeline POV

The sun was slowly filling the room, making it slowly warmer.

I slowly woke up from the sun and after a few minutes, I moved to face Emmaline. She was still asleep facing me. I watched her sleep for a few minutes.

I slowly got out of bed and closed the curtains a little better. I got on a sweater and went downstairs to make us breakfast.

I came down the stairs and saw her mother.

"Oh hi Madeline!" Her mother said while packing her bag.

"Hello Ms.Ruthner" I said smiling a little.

"I've told you to call me Margret. Anyway I'm off to work. Take good care of each other for me will you?" She said walking around getting her blazer on.

"Always will" I said moving to the kitchen.

"Thanks well I'm off!" She said ready. She kissed the top of my head and left.

I stood there surprised for a minute. I hadn't had a motherly figure in my life since I was 15 and my mom lost the ability to take care of us. But that kiss on the head just filled me with love. Not the type of love I feel from Emmaline, but motherly love. I had a tear fall down my face at it.

I wiped the tear away and made breakfast. I got the coffee into two cups and the French toast on two plates. I set everything on a tray and walked upstairs.

I set the tray down on the desk and woke Emmaline up with a few kisses and pushing the curtains open.

"Mmmm. Morning babe" Emmaline said into the 5th kiss.

"Hey. I made breakfast" I said leaving her lips.

She sat up and I brought the tray over. We ate together watching The Society on Netflix.

After two episodes I brought the plates back down. We showered and got dressed.

We went to Emmaline's therapy session. I spoke to her therapist a little and booked an appointment for later next week.

I left Emmaline to finish her session. I went to a jewelery story and found matching necklaces. I still had a little money from the $200 I had set for the present. I went to a shop and found matching phone cases.

I got everything in my bag and made sure it was wrapped up in my sweater so she wouldn't see them if she looked.

After therapy, we went to lunch with my friends since all of them had a free period after lunch.

We all met up at cheesecake factory and sat in a booth. I sat between Emmaline and Caroline. Both Caroline and West were clearly tripping since they couldn't talk correctly, laughed at everything and did weird things. Lily sat next to Emmaline and Kyle on her other side.

While eating I saw a few older guys keep looking at Emmaline and I, since we were close together and occasionally kissed. They were giving us dirty looks and looked mad.

I grabbed Emmaline's face, right before she could out her fork in her mouth, and kissed her deeply. She swallowed her food and opened her mouth and I slipped my tongue in. We left the kiss after 4ish minutes and I looked back at the guys and gave them the middle finger. One of them slammed the table getting up and walked over to our table.

"You all deserve to die! Especially you two. It should be a crime that you're allowed to walk freely on this planet!" He screamed at us.

All of us laughed and an employee came over and asked the guy to leave. All three men got kicked out and charged extra.
