LIVING IN A SMALL TOWN where the speed limit on the highway going through it is only 35 mph, can mean three different things.

One; the town is so small it's barely on the map and when they built they highway they decided 'Hey! Let's just stick some random-ass speed limit so these people in the town think they're special and that we care about them!'

Two; the only signs that the government could spare were 30 mph.

Or three; the town barely matters anyway and the four speed limit signs are all ignored anyway.

The answer for Greenview is, all of the above. Greenview is a teeny tiny town on the outskirts of, well nothing. To the north of the edge town is the mountains, which is a pretty yet boring view. The closest big city is a six hour drive away, on a good day. Highway 62 runs straight through the centre of town, so thats all vacationers who decide to pass through the scenic route up to the mountains get to see. A blink of a small town with barely anything in it. Sure, there's other towns near us, and a few Walmart's scattered here and there but that's pretty much it. Everybody knows everybody, and secrets are scarce in Greenview.

I've lived in Greenview my whole life. My parents grew up here and were high school sweethearts at good ol' GVHS, where I currently attend and am about to embark on my senior year. Dont get me wrong, I love the town. It holds all my best memories. Meeting my best friend, ice cream runs at Lola's, going to the shitty movie theatre just because they had the best popcorn,

I need, need, NEED to get out of Greenview. I can't stand to stay in this town for the rest of my life, doing the same mundane tasks everyday while working a generic 9-5 job. I've wanted to leave ever since the 2nd grade, where the mayor came to overview town jobs for our future careers. The thought of staying horrified me. So I vowed to get excellent grades and be able to leave on a scholarship anywhere but here. No distractions, only working hard so it can pay off. The plan was to stick to the plan and get the hell out of here. But there was something I didn't plan. I didn't plan on Quentin Zader.
