Hi, my name is Allie Thorne. I was a happy little girl until a man took my mom away. So...this is my story....

"Allie, can you help me take out the box from the car?", My mom yelled. "Yeah, be there in a sec!" I yelled back. Me and my family just moved from Birmingham, UK to Maine, United States. My dad got a pretty good job offer here so we all moved. I was 4 and my brother was 9 so we could adapt easily here. Life was awesome for me. We bought a house right beside the woods, the agency said the woods was haunted so no one want to buy this house, but I just think they're hallucinating. Anyway dad moved us here in December. He said that we could celebrate our new house and also my birthday at the same time, which is 20th December. Moving day was exhausting. Me and my brother, Scott fought for the biggest room and of course, I won. Well, it was a new beginning for me....or so I thought.

*20th December*

I woke up very early, at exactly 5.45 am. When I went out my room everybody was still asleep. I got bored waiting so I went for a morning walk in the woods. As I was walking, I saw a Mocking bird, I followed it deep into the woods. It eventually flew away. So I sat under a tree, as I was about to fell asleep, i heard a high pitch scream. It sounded came from deep in the woods. Well, me being a curious girl I went deeper into the woods closer to the scream. I kept walking until I saw a figure kneeling on the ground. What shocked me is it was my....mom. She looked like she had fought with something then I saw a burning-looking man hovering above her. He had a horn like a devil. Then mom break the silent "Please, please dont kill her. She's just a little girl!", "A little girl you say? That mortal kid had a powerful dark magic in her veins. She could kill me!" The man said with a cold tone. "Just please dont kill her. I'll give you anything but her!" My mom begged, she was crying, she could even mistaken to be Niagara Falls. "I want nothing but to take life, so I guess I should kill her!" The man said. Then suddenly mom said "Then take mine!". Just before I scream, the man covered them both with fire and with just a second....they vanished. I ran towards the place my mom was. I cry and scream her name for hours there. The I heard someone called my name. "Allie, Allie! Are you here? Dad's looking for you!". It was Scott's voice. "I'm right here!" I yelled back. Seconds later Scott was in front of me. I got up and hugged him. "Allie, why are you crying?", Scott ask. I wiped away my tear "Mom, she's dead. A burning man killed her," I said, I felt Scott's body stiffened. "We need to tell dad. Come on, we better hurry!" He said, I just nodded and walk back to the house.
