CHAPTER FOUR.

-NIALL’S POV-

I was so embarrassed when Lei saw me with only my underwear last night; she was panicking the hell out of her! Which I really think was soooo hilarious.

Though, I wonder what did really happen to her head, it looks like she was from a serious critical state. But whatever was the reason behind, she still looks beautiful even her full scalp was wrapped up in bandages.

I’m not just saying this because I pity her; I’m saying it because it’s true and I couldn’t agree less to my mum and brother.

I went out of my room and decided to peek in at Lei’s room. So, I sneakily walked towards her door when someone stopped me.

“Where are you going?” Greg asked I turned around to look at him with full guilt.

He looked like he was going somewhere so, I fired him his question back.

“Where are you going?”

“To get Denise to the airport, wanna come?” he asked.

“Nah…I’m busy.” I lied.

The truth is I only wanted to stay because I wanted to see or maybe have a chat with lei.

“Okay then.” Greg said.

He made his way downstairs and when he was out of sight, I sneakily went back to peeking at lei’s room.

I quietly cracked her door open slowly and surely as I think for an excuse, if she ever sees me doing this.

When the door was open enough to see inside, I peeked in and my heart was pounding fast as I did so.

But I was only greeted with an empty room. I sighed to myself and close her door shut again.

I made my way downstairs hoping to collide with her somewhere but then, I felt my stomach groaned so; I made my way to the kitchen.

I settled myself with a box of cereal and a glass of milk as I eat it down, hungrily.

“My baby must be so hungry” my mum said from behind

I turned around to look at her and she was smiling widely at me.

“Morning mum, have you seen lei?” I asked her immediately not wanting to wait any longer to see her.

“She was getting ready” my mum said

“Where?”

“On her room, she’s going to the airport.” She informed me and my eyes widened.

I almost choked on my milk hearing this, she’s leaving? She can’t leave. Not now, that I’m interested in her.

“She’s leaving?!” I asked my mum

I can feel my heart beat speeding up, as I waited for her answer.

“Love, I said she’s going not leaving” she said giggling.

I felt a huge rock being lifted in my shoulders as I sighed in relief. Then I remembered, Greg was getting Denise to the airport today.

“I smell something fishy around here… Now, tell me young man. Do you fancy her?” my mum asked wiggling her eyebrows at me and I felt my cheeks blush.

“No.” I said chuckling.

“Hmmm… whatever floats your boat love” she said winking at me and made her way to the backyard.

I don’t think I fancy lei that much just yet, because I barely even know her. But one thing’s for sure I’m interested in her and I wanted to know her better.
