quick question!

Hello everyone!
I will be publishing season 2 very sooonnn, and I had a question👀

Do you guys prefer if I keep my way of writing which is :

I look over at San, raising a brow

(Mingi): You okay?

OR this way :

"Nahee, are you even listening to me?"
San nudges my shoulder, making me realize that I haven't been listening to him for so long, lost in my thoughts.
"Sorry, can you repeat?"
I reply, admitting I wasn't quite paying attention to him.

I would maybe like to give it a change with the second type of writing, to make the story more detailed and give myself a lil challenge to get used too, but I wanna get you guys opinions first! If you are more comfortable with the first version and have a feeling you could get confused with the second one, comment it down below! But otherwise if youd like me to try the other way, comment down too! I will go with the one that has more votes. I love you all, have a good day/night!
