Victoria controlled everything. From the backless pink silk gown, I had on to the skinny-heeled silver pumps, to the body waves in my hair.

The old hag knew exactly where I was weak, exactly where to pull my strings. Ruining Marcelie's and the other girls' lives over dinner would be ridiculous. However, Victoria would only get so far threatening me with Kitties. I'd already lost everything and unlike before the feeling didn't scare me. The diamonds around my neck, this mansion, her money, meant absolutely nothing to me. I'd had the shit beat out of me, almost every day for 9 years, 9 years of living under Richard making my life a living hell and my mother a shell of a person letting him. I'd be damned if I let Victoria do the same. She'd get her dinner tonight but there was no way in hell I would let her marry me off like a tool. Her staff was bustling up and down the stone halls, trays in hand, Gianna shouting out orders.

"Bella, Victoria is expecting you in the foyer to greet the guest," she said eyeing me through her hideous glasses. I refrained from engaging in further conversation and followed the line of hurrying people. I spotted Victoria and we locked eyes. She was dressed in her usual pants suit, the color tonight was a blood red. She pulled me over next to her a fake smile pulling at her lips as her guest began to arrive. It took every bit of restraint I had not to pull my arm from her grip, and I didn't bother showing any of the hospitality she expected of me. Besides a faint smile and the nod of my head, I let her do all the talking and hosting.

" Vince, Marianne," Victoria pulled on my arm, her eyes brightening up. She exchanged a particularly animated greeting with the couple before their attention shifted to me.

"This must be Bella, I never knew you had more family in the states," Vince spoke and Victoria and even his wife shifted uncomfortably. He cleared his throat moving aside to reveal a boy and a girl around my age. They both had perfectly styled black hair and sharp hazel eyes, the girl clearly amused by what was happening.

"Well Bella, allow me to introduce my son, and my daughter," he said as if it was an afterthought and she noticed rolling her eyes. "This is Enzo.Victoria and I think the two of you would be a perfect match," he said and I had to contain the laugh that threatened to spill over my lips at his haste.

"And this is our daughter Serena." his wife, Marianne spoke introducing the girl who was clearly the furthest thing on her father's mind.

Enzo stepped forward, the way his eyes slithered over my body, particularly lingering on my chest made me shudder in disgust . He extended his hand and no matter how reluctant my body felt in the moment, I took it.

"Nice to make your acquaintance," he said moving to bring my hand to his lips, but I quickly pulled it back. His disapproval of my action was clear in his eyes and with no surprise at all, Victoria was shooting daggers in my direction. The last thing I wanted was to give him the impression that anything would happen between us.

"Nona." My brother appeared suited up. He was never around and even he had gotten roped in to this sharade of a night. He spared me a glance and a short nod of greeting.

"Christian." she smiled wide at her pride and joy and he leaned down to whisper in her ear. Her smile tightened and she looked over at me.

"Shall we head to the dining room?" Victoria finally spoke aloud trying to spare the awkwardness of the moment.

"Bella." Emma chirped from the doorway and again I could feel Victoria burning a hole into the side of my face. If I was going to sit through her ridiculous ass dinner then I'd at least have one person on my side.

"Enzo, Serena." she nodded half-heartedly greeting the boy still looking at me as if I had killed his dog.

"I hope you don't mind Victoria, but I insisted on following my brother and Luca." Emma said challenging the seething woman. Victoria unclenched her jaw forcing another forced smile in Emma's direction.

"I'll have the servants arrange space," she said disappearing down the hall with the Ricchi's in tow, just as Luca and Dante appeared in the doorway. His eyes found mine, and despite last night, my heart tripped over itself, my lungs struggling desperately to take in air. One look from him, and I was no longer standing in the foyer, but stretched out underneath him, my body melting at his touch, numb fingertips buried into the small of his back, breathless moans of pleasure, and those eyes taking in every inch of my body, swallowing me whole.

I don't know when Luca made his way over to me, but by the time I'd locked every fantasy I had a way, he was standing right in front of me leaning down towards me.

"If you keep looking at me like that Bella, we won't make it to Victoria's dinner," he said and every part of me wanted to pull him down the hall to my bedroom and let him do whatever he pleased, but it was that same desire that landed me in this position in the first place. I reluctantly shook my head, pointing a finger at him.

"I told you last time, that couldn't happen anymore. Victoria's on my ass now. She planned tonight just so she could marry me off to Enzo Ricchi, and you to my sister." I whispered the last part and his eyes darken 3 shades panning down the hall where Enzo had followed Victoria.

"And I told you last time that I don't take orders," he said tilting my chin up his lips coming down to meet mine in a brief, teasing kiss. "When have I ever let you down Principessa."

"Bella." a high voice called out my name and I turned to see none other than my darling sister Mia, red as a cherry. This was going to be beautiful. she quickly fastened her bony fingers around my wrist and pulled me into the hallway that led to the kitchens off the foyer. She was in a white ruffled trumpet dress, that narrowly resembled a wedding dress. I instantly knew her mother had chosen it, because Sara was everything but subtle.

I was so distracted by the dress, I missed her hand flying towards my face, and was slapped.

"Keep your slutty stripper hands away from my fiance."she fumed, craze in her eyes.

"You're going to wish you never did that you little bitch." I said starting for her.

"Girls." Michele rounded the corner, his eyes landing on my cheek. "Dinner is starting."
