Twilight Sparkle finds herself in a cave, and the entrance slightly covered with vines. Where am I...? She looked around, and finds herself carrying her saddlebag, a newly extinguished firepit, and some books. She's also weak and wounded, and she also notices the wet floor of the cave. I don't feel so good. What happened... I can't remember... Where's Spike? Where am I? Twilight Sparkle picks up her book and walks out, only to be greeted by a black alicorn filly with turquiose eyes and a blue shield cutie mark. She smiles a bit.
"Mom, are you okay? We..." the filly looks around. "I don't know where we are..."
"I'm okay, Nyx... I just... don't remember either..." Twilight said weakly.
The black alicorn filly, named Nyx, goes to Twilight and hugs her. Twilight hugs her back, then rustling is heard among the bushes. Spike? They both go to the bush and finds Spike, which makes Twilight relieved. That was expecting... She then looks at what Spike is apparently doing. He is trying to know where we are, then is surprised to see Twilight.
"Woah, Twilight! You should have warned me!" Spike shouts in surprise, "Are you feeling better?"
"A bit. A bit." Twilight replies, "I'll survive."
The 3 share a group hug, then everypony looks at what Spike is doing. It seems to be a letter for Princess Celestia calling for help. That'll help. Twilight tries to levitate the letter closer, only making her head hurt.
"Mom, your horn is..." Nyx warns, having difficulty what to say, "kind of broken."
That explains almost everything. Twilight touches her horn with her hoof. Ouch... I did... She looks at Nyx, then looks at Spike as he breathes in, then breathes out as he sends the letter. They watch the smoke of it fly away.
"Then we wai-" Spike is unexpectedly cut off mid-sentence after burping a letter out. "That fast."
Twilight and Nyx opens the letter and reads it. Nyx notes the 2 handwritings
Dear Twilight Sparkle,
We too, are lost as we speak. It seems like it took just a storm. We also wonder where we all are. Me, Celestia only remembers the time where we are on a boat *scratches and scribbles probably made by Princess Luna and change of handwriting* Twilight, glad to hear you safe. We hope to see all 3 of you again. Especially Nyx.

PS: Don't use magic until your horn is fixed.
"We hear you, princess." Twilight says, then looks around. "Nyx, dear, have you noticed anything familiar? Canterlot... or maybe Ponyville?" She asks.
Nyx shrugged. "No, only a big crystal tower and ponies that... hmm..." Nyx replies, "crystal ponies."
Twilight looks at Nyx and nuzzles her, "Congratulations for finding the Crystal Empire."
Nyx blushes, "Aw, mom!"
Spike climbs up a tree, and notices what she said. "Yup, it seems like we'll see Shining Armor and Princess Candance soon."
Nyx let out a squee before heading to the Crystal Empire. Twilight, feeling that something's wrong, follows Nyx even though she has been limping ever since she got out of the cave. Spike was forced to follow. As they get closer to the Train station, Twilight pulled Nyx to hiding, and peeks. Spike peeks as well.
The 2 find themselves in future, with their Sister Princesses as well. She carefully watches as she watches herself get out of the train, and notices she's an alicorn and felt like something will go wrong.
