HIATUS[Hotaru/Little Interactions] Tsukishima Kei x Reader ( Haikyuu )

1st Interaction: Rain

It was the beginning of spring when Tsukishima was walking his way to the convenience store to buy some milk and salt. The clouds were getting shady, probably rain will come. How odd to have a particular rain in springtime.

On the other hand, you were at the convenience store too. You were taking the time to buy, that you didn't notice the sky's state. Additionally, you are injured and have no umbrella. The door clanged, as Tsukishima entered the store. 

"Ah, the wind is strong today. Good thing, I brought an umbrella." Someone said while you were reading the labels and prices. You noticed it was going to rain. Jokes on you, you're in trouble. Tsukishima went to the same section of the store you were in.

Being disabled for a while, you were noticeable among the people inside the store. Tsukishima looked for the things he needs to buy. He glanced at you for a second and shifted away his eyes from you.

"What's an injured person doing here? Shouldn't she be in her house and someone else has to buy for her?"  

"Whatever, it's not my business anyway." Tsukishima being Tsukishima Kei didn't mind you at all.

You quickly took the things you need to buy, you were getting worried because you needed to go home before the rain falls. You dropped one of your items and struggled to get it back while Tsukishima didn't bother you as he doesn't know who you are. A stranger came to help you and gave the item to you.

"It seems you can't walk Miss, Here," she said giving it. You bowed as a thank you.

"Yes, as you can see I can't really walk. I have crutches. Thanks for letting me know I can't walk." You said as you passed thru Tsukishima who snickered. Eventually, Tsukishima has caught your attention.

"Why is that stupid blonde hair laughing at me?" You pouted and went to the cashier. The rain has started to pour from the sky. Your items began to swiped by the cashier lady. The rain increased its humidity.

"here you go! Thanks for purchasing!" said the cashier lady. You went outside of the store and looked at the sky.

"Ahhh, what should I do???" You were thinking to buy an umbrella but you were insufficient. You used all the money to buy food. Inside the store, there was Tsukishima in the cashier lane. He could see you outside from that glassed walls. 

"Hmm, it's that injured girl. I wonder how she will get home. I hope she will get home safely." He said, with hesitation. Tsukishima took the plastic bag of his purchased items and exited out of the store. He stood there, beside you for a moment. He glanced again at your worried and determined face.

"Should I walk with this rain or should I walk with this rain?" you were choosing between a ridiculous choice, or maybe you should just wait for the rain to stop. But it looks like it won't go away in an hour. You need to go home before your little brother goes home. You promised yourself you'll cook him a meal. 

On the other hand, Tsukishima was gonna get his umbrella and walk home but his subconsciousness tells him to be at least considerate and not be salty for a while, after all, he bought enough salt for the house, so his saltiness ain't gonna be needed for a while. Tsukishima thinks you're somewhere near their house, therefore he can take you home but Tsuki doesn't really pay attention to those who live near them. So he wasn't really sure. Nonetheless, you were gonna walk home right now but Tall Fries had stopped you.

"Miss, are you somewhere from here?" he asked. You were enlightened to his question, you were desperate to go home.

"Yes, Sir. I am from here," you answered. He offered help, it seems you two are in the same streets. But you being you, wondering why both of you are addressing each other in a weird way instead. Tsukishima opened his umbrella and shared it with you. On the way, both of you were quiet, all you could hear is the rain getting stronger.

"Thank you for letting me share your umbrella, Sir" You thanked him to break the silence. You also addressed "sir" as if he was an adult, he was very tall so you assumed he was older.

"Mhmm," he responded bluntly. Both of you have reached your houses' street, It seems Tsukishima's house is near at your direction while your house is a far bit more.

"Tsukishima...?" you read the metal plate attached to the pillar. 

"Is this your home?" you asked and he nodded.

Tsukishima was gonna enter his home to get another umbrella so you can walk on your way home without getting wet but he remembers you were using crutches to walk.

"I'm fine here, I can just walk home all by myself. Besides, it's near." You said.

"Baka, you think you can walk with crutches when it's raining? You might get slipped" he made a point but stupid you, didn't wanna admit and you were embarrassed.

"S-shut up! Don't underestimate me!" you pouted, matching your small height. He continued and walk you home anyway. You reached your house and opened your house's small gate. Your little brother heard your arrival from inside and quickly goes out. 

"Thank you so much, Mister Tsukishima." You bowed and he left.

"NEEEEE-CHAAAAAN" Kazumi yelled and help you to get inside.

"What did you go out!? You're supposed to be here at home while I do stuff at your place!?" 

"Eeeehhhh, but you're a kid, you can get lost."

"But you're injured! Nee! I'm not 5 years old to get lost in the streets."

You laughed at your cute little brother. You two went inside your house. Kazumi took your groceries and you sat because you were exhausted.

"By the way, who was that? Don't tell me it's a stranger."

"A stranger who help me to get home!" You said with a smile while your brother sighed and you giggled.

"Don't worry! He's also on the same street that we are in!" 

You started to cook. 

"I better thank him and give him cookies, the next time we meet." You wonder when you will interact with him again.
