Later that evening, Avni and Sheetal walked back to their house with hands full of two boxes of sweets and a tiffin filled with snacks that Aarti had packed for Raj and Nishant, Avni's father and brother. Sheetal had insisted on that there was no need of doing so but Aarti had shushed her saying that she was being unnecessarily formal.

When Raj had returned home after work Sheetal served him snacks and sweets while telling about how well function went and how much they enjoyed. Raj also listened to his wife with utmost attention commenting in between once in a while to show her his interest in the conversation. While Nishant had went straight to his room and ate his food there.

He was a reserved kind of person who was not much keen to know about how his mother spent her day or what she talked about to others. He believed in giving a person his personal space which he expected for himself also.

Sun was peeking above the horizon painting sky in its scarlet red, giving entire scenery a mesmerizing view ; waking up people to start afresh, a new day with a new spirit, new hope, new goal, new determination, new strength, new wish and meeting new people.

Avni opened her eyes when first ray of the rising sun fell upon her small face and lazily sat up in her bed. Taking in a deep breath of fresh morning air with a sweet smile on her lips she looked out of the window just before her on the opposite wall. Her favourite sight came into view and the alarm on her bed side table beeped indicating it was half past six.

Gazing at the orangish red sun she had only one thought in her mind as always,

One day I will rise up as high as sun.

With this one thought she got out of her bed. Being an early morning person she never needed an alarm to wake her up. Yet to be on safe side she always set an alarm of time of sunrise so that when she would wake up, the first thing in the morning which came into her line of vision was the morning sky painted in red, her favourite colour.

Sheetal was in their home temple worshipping god by offering her daily prayers asking for the well being and happiness of her family. A small diya sat lightened up in front of the idol of god, in a plate which contained many other things like kumkum, haldi, mauli, laddoos and incense sticks along with diya. The fragrance of sandalwood incense stick mixed with the air, giving a peaceful and enchanting environment to the entire house in the early morning.

Avni, Nishant and Raj all three came out of their respective rooms looking all fresh and dressed up in new clothes and joined Sheetal in their home temple to offer their morning prayers.
