Hand in hand, they walked down the stairs and into the main living area of the flat. In the kitchen the could see Liam making some tea for them all. Zayn was kidding around him trying to get the tea packets from Liams hand.
It wasn't before they had walked past the kitchen that they could see Niall laying on the sofa in the living room. He was reading something on his phone, probably one of those fan fictions that he had told Louis about.
Niall lifted his head when he heard the footsteps on the wood floor of the room. He immediately smiled when he saw the happy couple holding hands as they walked over to the sofa. He sat up so Harry and Louis could sit on the sofa too.
"Good morning!" the blond lad said with a bright smile across his face. He locked his phone and laid it on the coffee table.
"Really good" Louis said smirking as he looked at Harry from the corner of his eye. A light pink blush covered his cheeks as he looked back at Louis. He tried and failed not to smirk as he thought about the mornings activities.
"Early bird gets the wood on" He said with a little laugh. Now it was Louis' turn to blush. He looked away from Harry, both of their faces slightly pink.
"By the looks on your faces I'm guessing it's best for me not to ask what that means" Niall said looking a little uncomfortable but still smiling at the couple in front of him.
Nobody said anything and they sat there just looking at each other until finally someone interrupted the silence. "Breakfast is ready!" Zayn yelled from the kitchen.
"Thank god" Niall said as he got up from the sofa walking quickly over to Liam and Zayn.
They sat at the table simply talking about their plans for the day and eating the chocolate chip pancakes Liam had made.
"What are you lads going to do today?" Zayn asked as he looked at his friends around the table. "I was thinking I'm just going to chill since I have nothing better to do."
"Well, I have to get to work soon, so I'll be away for a few hours. But after that I'm just free to hang around." Liam answered shrugging his shoulders and taking another big bite of his pancake.
"I don't really know, I think I might go down to the dog shelter and look at the dogs" Niall said through his mouth full of food before he swallowed thickly and took a big gulp of milk.
"Why? We're not even allowed to have dogs in the flat." Zayn commented looking skeptically at Niall. Niall just raised his shoulders. "I don't know, dogs are cute"
«Okaaay» Zayn said looking slowly away from him with one eyebrow raised. "How about you?" He asked referring to Louis and Harry.
"Uhm, I was thinking I could take you out on a date" Harry said as he started to blush and looking down at his plate where he fumbled with his pancake.
Louis couldn't help but smile big at Harry's shyness and he thought it was adorable. "I would love that baby" Harry looked up for his green eyes to meet the blue ones that he loved so much. As they looked each other in the eyes it felt like the other lads had disappeared. Harry felt his stomach doing crazy flips. It felt like the first time they had caught each others eyes.
*flashback*
It was the first day of high school school for Harry. He didn't know where to go as he entered the big school. He looked around before he walked down the entrance hall. He went up to the area that he guessed was the office because there was people walking in and out of the door.
He sat down in one of the small couches before getting called into the office. In the office he god his schedule and the office lady showed him a map over the school and where his classes were.
He said a thank you as he walked back to the door again and walked out looking at his schedule, his first class of the day, math, started at 9. He looked down and pulled up his jumper on his arm a little bit, enough to reveal his pale wrist and the big silver clock that Gemma had gotten him for his birthday. The time read 8:30 so he had at least a half an hour to find his classroom.
It took Harry a few minutes to find his locker, it was just down the hallway and to the right so he should be able to see. As he turned right to walk to his locker, he saw that there wasn't many people in the small hallway. The only people there was two girls chatting, one of them had blond short hair and bangs and the other had long brown hair.
There was another person there too, it was a boy with shaggy brown hair, and he was actually really small and cute. He was looking down at his phone or something because he didn't see where he was going so he suddenly bumped into Harry. He looked up from his hands and right into Harry's eyes.
"Oops!" The small boy said with an apologetic smile on his face. Harry couldn't bring himself to look away from the boy's eyes. They were icy blue, like diamonds.
"Hi" was all he could get out if his mouth as he continued to have this intense eye contact with a boy he had never met before.
"Hey, I'm Louis" The boy finally said and reached his hand out for Harry to shake. He took the hand gladly and shook it a little. Louis' hands were really small compared to Harry's.
"Uhm, I'm Harry." Harry said looking at their hands then up to Louis' face again. "I haven't seen you around before, are you new?" The short boy asked as he pulled his hand back.
"Yeah, this is my first day, I'm a freshman" Harry said looking back down at his schedule. "Oh cool, I'm a junior, do you need any help? I can show you around if you want" Louis asked politely with a big smile on his face that showed his teeth and made his eyes crinkle.
"Yes, that'd be great. Let me just put my things in my locker, I think it's right about here" Harry said gratefully before looking around trying to find his locker.
"Which number?"
"It's locker 28" Harry saw Louis smiling even bigger.
"You're kidding!? That's right besides mine!" Louis said in excitement as he showed Harry to his locker. He then showed him around the school and compared their schedules to each others. Harry was happy he had made a new friend the first day.
