Chapter two

~Kate's POV~

I opened the door and saw, my father.

"What are you doing here, Stephen?." I asked with anger clear in my voice.

"I just came by to see you." He said. "Well you saw me, now leave." I said as I slammed the door in his face. He knocked, and knocked. I just locked the front door and walked upstairs to to my room.

Crash!

I heard the sound of glass breaking and rushed downstairs. When I got to the bottom of the stairs, I saw Stephen, standing in shattered glass.

"You have a lot of nerve coming here when you know your not supposed to and then breaking a window!" I yelled in anger, as he just stared at me. A few more minutes of silence. I figured he wouldn't say anything but I was proven wrong when he said.

"I'm sorry." He had a look of sympathy plastered on his face. "I'm sorry for leaving you and Angle. I'm sorry for not being the father you want. I'm sorry for everything." I couldn't believe what he said. 'im sorry' played over again and again in my mind. Was he really sorry, or is this just a act?

"I promise I can change, for you and for Angle. Just give me a second chance Kate. Please." I wanted to say no but I feel like maybe I can trust him. Then again he could just be acting. I have made up my mind.

"I'll give you another chance." As soon as those words came out, I could see he looked much more relaxed than before. "Let me call mom and tell her. While I do that clean up this glass." And with that I was off to my room to call mom.

"Hey momma. Huh? Oh no nothing is wrong, but uhh, you remember Stephen? Yeah well he is here and he wants us to give him a second chance. Momma? Hello? Mother!" I called her name again and again but never got a response.

"Kate. Run." My mom said. As soon as she said run I panicked and ran downstairs and saw Stephen with a knife.

"Oh hello Kate." He said. "Put the knife down." I said sternly. In stead he just walked closer to me.
I was now up against a wall with a knife at my throat. I thought I was a goner but I was once again proven wrong when someone came busting through the door. I looked over a saw...

~Jeff's POV~

"Yeah yeah whatever! I'll be back!" I yelled at Slenderman. As I was walking through the woods I heard a slam. "Someone is mad." I said to myself.

I here yelling as well and got curious. When I got to where I heard the noise, I saw a man pinning a girl to the wall with a knife at her throat. Normally I would have just watched but this girl looks like the one slender has been observing. It was.

Before the man could do anything I bursted through the front door and tackled the man. "Get off of me you prick!" He yelled at me. I just laughed as he struggles to fight me off. "Shhhh this will only hurt alot." I said as I started carving a smile into his face, as I was cutting I was enjoying his pained screams. Once I was done I said. "Go to sleep." I then slit his throat and looked at the girl. She was scared, no terrified. "Listen I won't hurt you. I'm only going to help you." When I said that she just stared at me. "A-are you J-jeff the killer?" She said fear in her voice. "The one and only." "Thank you." She said. Wait what? Why did she say thank you?. I opened my mouth to speak but heard the sound of keys jingling. The girl grabbed me and and pulled me upstairs. "Stay here." She said. Then she walked off.

~Kates POV~

I walked downstairs and saw mom looking at the dead man.

"Hello momma." I said she looked at me then at the now dead Stephen.

"Did you do this?" She asked me
"What! No, I would never kill someone!" I said. "Then who did? She asked.

"I did." We looked at the stairs and saw Jeff.
