Pretending To Be Straight

I don't even know anymore

No one's PoV

Apollo was facing a dilemma. His parents kept assuming that he had a girlfriend which would be fine if he wasn't hella gay. Each time they ask he starts stammering and changing the subject, only making his parents for eager to meet the girl that can make him stutter. Eventually they demanded he bring her round for Christmas Eve

Naturally, Natasha found out and took pity on his poor soul. Together they discussed his situation and Nat agreed to pretend to be his girlfriend so his parents would get off his back about it. What could go wrong, just a gay and a lesbian pretending to be straight.

Apollo's PoV

Nat said she would turn up around five so I had some time to prepare. I was in my usual graphic t-shirt and ripped jeans, not really bothering with my outfit. Slowly, the minutes ticked by and much to my Mum's excitement, the doorbell rang. She all but jumped out her seat to go answer the door.

"Hiya, I'm Natasha, Apollos girlfriend." I had to give it to her, she can act.

"Oh yes, come in dear. I'm Claudia and that's Oliver, Artemis is in her room but will be down for dinner. Now I'm guessing you met at Hogwarts, see my mother was a witch to and Artemis may start next year. Oh dear I'm rambling again." Nat let out a smile giggle which was strange to hear and told her it was fine before asking where my room is.

I smiled and took her hand and lead her up to my room. She was wearing black jeans with a dark green t-shirt and black and green plaid shirt over the top paired with black combat boots.

"You look nice, very Slytherin." I commented, giving an awkward smile.

"Thanks. God that was awkward, I was about to burst from acting all smiley." We laughed and played some video games for the next hour or so till my sister Artemis walked in the room.

"Hi Nat. I like your outfit, very lesbian of you." She deadpanned, sitting on the bed. We sat there on the floor gaping at her like she turned into a dalek. "Oh don't worry, I know about him too. We queer kids can smell each other, so they say." We both calmed down at this and continue to play video games, as you do.

Eventually, dinner was done and we were called down to eat. Thankfully, Artemis didn't mention us and dinner continued as normal, until Mum asked us a question. "So, how long have you been dating? Where did you meet?"

I chocked on my food and Nat had to slap my back to clear my airway. "We've been dating for a few months now, he helped me with my potions homework I was struggling on." Nat lied smoothly. I nodded along, awkwardly placing my arm around her shoulders. To say I was surprised she didn't break my arm for doing it was an understatement.

Thankfully, the night ended and I walked outside with Nat to walk her home and we started to laugh when she turned to me, deadly serious. "You put your arm on my shoulders like that again I'll burn you alive, got it?" I nodded, scared of her threat and continued to walk her home.

Lets not do that again, straight people are hard to act.

AN:

Well, this was fun. No offence to straight people, I was in a very weird mood when I came up with this idea.
