I've been ignoring Kyle for the past couple off weeks just so he knows how mad I am at him. He's tried to be nice and do things for me and it's almost made me want to start talking to him again but he deserves the silent treatment.

It was science class now and regretfully I had picked Kyle as my partner at the start of the year. I made my way to my seat and continued to ignore Kyle.
'Chanel come on, it's been ages since we talked, please say something! i'm literally begging you at this point!'
A smirk made its way onto my face as I realised how much he actually missed talking to me. I shrugged my shoulder at him and started writing in my notebook.
I ripped the page out and gave it to Kyle.

I'm not giving up the silent treatment until you prove you're actually sorry!

Kyle sighed but started to smirk as he came up with an idea. He wrote me a letter back.

I'm picking you up at 8pm tomorrow night, be ready :)

Another surprise, I hate surprises. After that letter we never spoke during the class again.

The next day

I walked home after school and luckily my dad was not in so I didn't have to tip toe around the house.
Although I was still pissed at Kyle I still wanted to put effort into looking good tonight.
I applied light makeup since my skin was clear and there was no need to foundation, then I let my hair down and kept its natural wave.
I had no idea what he was planning and had no idea what to wear, of course I wasn't going to text and ask him. I picked out a pair of dark blue denim shorts and a oversized vintage sweater that went down to my thighs. It was comfy but also looked appropriate for going out.

I waited on my front porch for Kyles car to make an appearance. Usually I wouldn't do this for a boy but I wanted to see Kyles apology and I guess I actually did miss him.
Soon enough Kyles car swerved round the corner and like a gentlemen he got out the car to open the door for me. He really was going full out on this apology.

The car ride was silent but not awkward, it was a comfortable silence. The small hum of the music from the radio was comforting and just knowing he was next to me.

The drive wasn't that long and soon enough we were at our destination.
