Kyle quickly covered my eyes with his hand as we were getting out the car so I wouldn't see what he had planned. Usually I would yell at him but i'm still giving him the silent treatment.

He guided me onto what I assumed to be sand, the walk was short and eventually he took his hand off my eyes.

A gasp left my mouth as I looked at what Kyle had organised. He had laid out a large blanket on the sand underneath a white gazebo lined with fairy lights and candles. Next to the blanket was a hamper filled with all my favourite snacks. It was beautiful. Kyle was carrying pillows and more blankets that he had packed in his car and spread them around.

'So what do you think?' He asked whilst scratching the back of his neck anxiously.
'It's beautiful' I replied whilst going over to give him a hug.
I didn't want to actually accept his apology but no one had ever done anything like this for me before.

We started to make ourselves comfortable on the blanket as we watched the sea together. It was perfect. Soon enough the snack were out and the sun was setting.

Kyle quickly started fixing the pillows and propping himself up on them. He gestured for me to come over so I did and he pulled me next to him whilst holding me around my waist. I rested my head on his chest as we watched the sun set together.

Everything was perfect.

Soon enough we had both fallen asleep on the beach, Kyles arms were wrapped around my waist and my head was laying in the crook of his neck. Nothing felt more right than what was happening in this moment.
