'Ok let me spit some facts out real quick.'
That is a very wrong way of speaking in public or with anybody. Instead use:
'Hello, do want to hear some fun-facts I know?'
It may not the most formal way to express yourself, but it is just a great way talk to your friends. But if it's an older person, you should talk to them in a formal way. It shows how respectful you are towards them. While talking with grown-ups or elders please use:
'Hello, how are you? I would love to share a few facts with you. Are you interested?'
You can use the formal way of talking in speacial occasions and approaches. Important situations such as meeting a big personality, such as the queen, king, president etc. The formal way, is the right way to speak. The second example of how to speak to others, is called speaking casually. Speaking casually is not marked as informal, but it's not formal as well. The first example was quite informal as you can tell. It is not a option to speak to anyone like that. Not even your parents. They deserve to be treated with respect.
