"I can't believe you made me do this" mia said as she plopped onto her bed out of frustration.

"well all you do is talk about him, might as well talk to him" amanda said twirling around in mias desk chair.

"talk to your crush, don't know what that is, very funny Amanda" mia says in her sarcastic tone

"well he talked to you, or well more like commented, but still" amanda says trying to encourage her friend into talking to the boy she talks way too much about.

"I'm not going to talk to him, no matter how much you try to make me- " mia says as her phone rings.

"who is it" amanda said jumping out onto the chair and onto Mia's bed to see who had texted her.

"calm down amanda, let me check" mia chuckled at the fact of how her friend got so excited.

***-***-**** has sent you a message

Mia's eyebrows furrowed as she looked at the notification, confusion written on her face.

amanda noticed and asked "what is is?"

Mia answered with "unknown number" looking up from her phone to face her friend

"well check the message then" amanda said giving her friend a shove

"ok, ok then" mia said.

she opened her phone again and read the message

hi mia it's me noah!

mias eyes popped out and her jaw hit the floor, the noah schnapp had texted her, and not even through social media but by her phone number, how did he even get her phone number. Mia dropped her phone on her bed and got up, with amanda following behind her.

"what happened" Amanda asked seeing her friend in a very distressed state

"noah texted me, NOAH SCHNAPP texted me" mia said now running out to her backyard

"no way!" amanda said with a smile on her face.

"why are you smiling, why aren't you freaking out" mia said now sitting down on the grass where she always had a blanket laid out, she loved having picnics, even if it was only her.

"welk because this is great, that means that he wants to talk to you, he did text you first" Amanda said wiggling her eyebrows at her friend

Mia's cheeks turned a warm shade of red "be quiet". Even through those words, you could still hear the tone in her voice, it was like she was the happiest girl in the world.

"well what did you text back" amanda said curiously in how this relationship would go.

"um I kind of panicked and ran out my room" mia said with a slight chuckle twords the end

"Mia" amanda said laughing at how nervous her friend got around a boy she's never even talked to.

at that second Amanda's phone rang. "sorry mia my mom told me I have to get home now, but make sure to text him back, sooner rather than later, and text me when you do"

Mia sighed "alright, text me when you get home"

the two girls waved goodbye and amanda went through the house to get to the front door.

As amanda was leaving she heard a "hello" and looked up there she saw her brother standing in the doorway.

"TOM" mia ran towards her brother giving him a big hug, and him returning it as well.

"it's been a while" he said chuckling "let's go do something" tom said as he and his sister went out to go find something to do.

iamsupermanmia: Tom's been home for like 3 hours and he already broke my new paint set. Someone make him go home.

hi everyone. If any of the stuff in this book seems old or kind of rude or one of those kids that are "indie" or "alt", gatekeepers or anything like that I started this book last year (Aug 2019) and started writing again in like June of this year. I promise it gets better around chapter six because I've written those chapters much more recently (1-2 weeks ago) also thank you to people who have been reading this, it makes me really happy :)
