As we walked back to headquarters to report to Mori, Chuuya suddenly spoke up, breaking the silence between us.

"Hey, y/n, wanna hang out later today?" he asked casually.

"Sure, I don't have anything to do today anyways," I replied with a smile.

Chuuya nodded in acknowledgment and continued leading the way to Mori's office.

After we finished reporting our mission to Mori, I turned to Chuuya, eager to plan our time together.

"So, what will we do today?" I inquired, genuinely curious about his thoughts.

Chuuya scratched the back of his head nervously. "I was planning on just going for a walk with you today... I don't know!" he admitted with a slight mumble.

"We can go stargazing later today," I suggested, tapping my chin thoughtfully.

Chuuya's gaze softened as he looked at me, a subtle blush coloring his cheeks. "Has anyone told you how beautiful you look without your mask?" he suddenly blurted out.

My eyes widened in surprise, feeling heat rush to my cheeks. "I-I... No," I stuttered, looking away shyly. Chuuya chuckled warmly, and in that moment, despite my initial embarrassment, I felt a sense of comfort and warmth being near him.

We continued our walk, engaging in easy conversation until we found a quiet spot with soft grass under the dark, starry sky. As we lay side by side, gazing up at the twinkling stars, a peaceful silence settled between us.

"It's weird that... I feel kind of flustered around you. Every time I'm with you, my heart keeps beating fast," Chuuya confessed quietly, breaking the serene silence. I turned my head to look at him, captivated by the gentle sparkle in his eyes under the starlight, his orange hair flowing softly in the breeze.

"I think... I'm in love... with you," he admitted, his words hanging in the air, leaving me stunned.

"Y-you love m-me?!" I gasped, caught off guard by his heartfelt confession. Tears welled up in my eyes, overwhelmed by the intensity of his words.

Chuuya looked at me, panic flashing across his face. "Ah! Did I say something wrong?!" he blurted out nervously. I couldn't help but chuckle softly at his reaction, feeling a rush of affection for him. Sitting up, I hugged him tightly, burying my face in the crook of his neck as he gently stroked my hair.

"I like you too, dummy," I whispered softly, my voice filled with warmth and sincerity.

Chuuya's smile was palpable against my skin as he held me close. "Can I try something?" he asked gently.

I nodded, anticipation fluttering in my chest. He pulled back slightly, cupping my face in his hands. Before I could comprehend his intention, his lips met mine in a tender kiss. It was soft yet filled with unspoken emotions, and I found myself kissing him back without hesitation.

We lost track of time in that embrace, our lips melding together in a perfect rhythm. When we finally pulled apart, breathless and flushed, I couldn't help but blush intensely.

Chuuya laughed softly at the sight of my red face, his eyes sparkling with affection and joy. In that moment, under the starlit sky, everything felt right and full of promise.
