Emma's POV

What am I going to say? I know I need to tell her before anything advances. But what if I don't say anything? What if the kiss meant nothing?

"Emma" Mary-Margaret waved her hand in front of my face.

"Sorry, I guess my mind went to outer space."

"You said that we needed to talk about something?" She walked over around the counter to sit next to me. Then there was a knock on the door. "Will you hold him please?" She held Neal out at me and I took him.

I stared at him thinking about what I was going to say while my mother opened the door. "Hey love, you ready to go?" I hear hook say after greeting my mother. I looked up at him and smiled. I handed Neal back to mother. "Um, I'll come by tomorrow." I kissed her cheek and left.

"Are you alright?" Hook asked as we walked out of my parents new house.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm a little tired."

"We don't have to go to lunch anymore, if you don't want to. I can just walk you home."

I didn't want to go to lunch anymore but not to go home, to go where I needed to go. "Is that okay with you?" I asked him.

"Yes, you go home and sleep and we can do lunch another day." He walked me to my parents old apartment, which was now mine. He went to kiss me but I turned and he got my cheek. He have me a confused look. "Sorry, I'm just going to go in." I went in and shut the door. I waited for awhile to make sure he was gone and then headed out.

I arrived at the house and knocked on the door. No one came so I started to leave. "Emma?" She said and I turned around.

"I, um, we need to talk. About last night." She stepped back from the door and motioned for me to come in. "Is Henry here?"

"No, he went to a friends. Do you want something to drink?"

"A glass of water please." I went and sat on the couch as she got the drinks. She handed me my drink and I took a sip. "So about the kiss."

She looked down at the drink in her hand. "Let's just forget about it. We were both quite drunk and I was upset about Robin leaving." She looked up at me. I looked into her brown eyes trying to see if she was lying, I could tell when people were lying. Except for her, I could never tell. She was so good at hiding it.

"Regina, we may have been drunk and you may have been sad and maybe vulnerable. But it wasn't just a kiss to me." I stopped and took a deep breath. I needed to tell her how I felt. I grabbed my water and took a huge drink. "The kiss meant something to me. It was different than any other kiss I've ever had." I was telling the truth. I'm not saying I've kissed millions of guys but I've had my fair share and with Regina it was different, it was perfect, like our lips were made for each other. We only kissed once, but I wanted more.

"It didn't mean anything to me." she said standing up. "I'm going to bed, you know where the door is." I just sat there in utter shock. I watched her leave the room and decided it was best for me to leave.

As I got to the door, I couldn't find it in myself to open it. I turned around and went upstairs. I knocked on Regina's door. "Yes?" She said. I opened it and she stood by her bed staring at me. "You honestly didn't feel a thing?" I asked her.

"No miss. Swan, I didn't feel anything and it's not going to happen again. Nothing can happen between us again. Understand?" I walked over to her. "No, I don't understand." I gently grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her towards me and kissed her soft lips.

I expected her to pull back, but she didn't, she kissed me back. I pulled back for air and rested her my forehead against hers as we caught our breath. "Just think about this kiss and let me know if you still didn't feel anything." I placed a quick kiss on her lips then left.

I love OUAT and I've been reading some SwanQueen fanfics and decided to give writing one a try. Let me know if I should continue or not.
