(Y/N)'s POV (Your POV)

When I woke up, I had the biggest headache. What did I do last night?

I rubbed my head. "Ugh." Looking around, I noticed I was in my room, wrapped up in my soft cotton blanket.

Did I party a little too hard last night. The answer was probably a hard yes. Well, it was Kaida's birthday, and I couldn't have missed out on that. Besides, it's probably the last time I'll see her in a while before this journey starts.

I sat up and sighed, getting out of bed to do my normal everyday routine.

"Bird-brains? You're up this early? Damn, I'm surprised, especially since you partied so hard last night." Ban smirked, obviously trying to fool with me this early.

"I know right." I shrugged at him, pushing off his dumb comments. Meliodas walked out of the kitchen, Hawk following him. "Oh, Morning Cap'n." I said, yawning.

"Morning, (Y/N)!" Meliodas excalimed cheerfully, as usual. I don't get it, is he always this happy and playful or is it just a show he puts on? I couldn't ever tell with him. I sighed. He held a plate out to me. "Wanna try it, new recipe." It looked really good, but I knew not to be fooled by such a trap.

"No thanks, Captain." I smiled and shook my hand.

"Oh, well suit yourself." He shrugged taking a bite out of the food he created. "Nasty." He said in a plain voice. I shook my head.

"Where's Diane?" I asked.

"Outside, where else. Geez, you really do have bird brains. I wouldn't be surprised if you'd run into a window any time soon." Ban told me, I rolled my eyes at him. He just chuckled, taking another sip from a glass bottle that I assumed was alcohol.

"What ever, zombie." I joked back, opening up the taverns front door to walk outside. I walked down the few steps and into the grass. "Diane, are you awake?" I asked.

"Hmm? Oh, sorry, goodmorning (Y/N)!" She rubbed her eyes, still half asleep.

"I was just checking on you, I'll tell you when the Captain says we're gonna leave." I told her.

"M'kay! Thanks." She said sitting up and stretching. I looked around.

"Another sunny day... I guess that's good for flying for lookout." I fanned myself from the sun, and told Diane I was going back inside.

I walked back inside and sat down at the bar next to Ban on a chair, and he stuck his tongue out at me. "Meliodas, what time will we be leaving to look for King?" Hawk asked out loud.

"Hmm, maybe in about an hour. We need to prepare to leave starting now." Meliodas said.

"Okay. Ban, get your lazy-drunk-ass up. Today you get to see your bestfriend remember him? It's been a long time hasn't it! Aren't you so excited?" I joked with Ban.

"Oh, haha, you must have a death wish." Ban glared at me.

"Eh, only slightly." I shrugged.

"(Y/N)." Meliodas said.
