"Don't do this," the voice whispered in Jason's ear.
"Don't try to stop me, Tal," Jason said as he pushed her aside while dragging the body behind him.
Talia Al' Ghul sighed, "Jason, you know what it's like to be brought back from the dead. Do you really want to put that burden on him?"
"I know. But, I'm the reason he's dead. He deserves a second chance," Jason replied as he let go of the body at the edge of the pool of green water. He turned to face Talia. "I'm doing this."
Talia looked angrily at Jason. She crossed her arms and said, "My pit, my rules."
"Well," Jason said as he approached Talia, he moved his face into hers, "Is there anything I could do to change your mind?" He wrapped his arms around Talia.
"No, Jason," she said as she pushed him away, "That one night we spent together, before you became the Red Hood, was great but I'm going to say no right now. It'd mean nothing." Jason gave her a confused look. "Jay, I can tell you're in love and you won't break the trust the two of you have."
Jason exclaimed, "He's dead!" He fell to the ground in tears, "He's dead. It shouldn't matter if I move on but I can't. I want to let him go."
Talia kneeled down next to him and placed her arm around him. "Hey, moving on doesn't mean forgetting. We all need to move on at some point but we never forget the memories."
Jason sat their quietly remembering all the good times he had with the love of his life. He laughed as he wiped the tears away from his face, "Thanks, Tal. Maybe bringing the body back to life isn't such a good idea."
"Actually, I think you should. It will bring you closure and him as well."
