Vertigo's POV:

So, I ended up getting a new couch. I didn't buy it though, I just kinda dialed up some furniture store. I didn't hypnotize them or anything if that's what you're wondering. I yawned, leaning back on the new sofa. It was not white this time and was actually more comfortable then I imagined. To be honest, I don't really know what I'm doing with my life.

I guess you could say I was still wrapping my head around the fact that my arch-nemesis had just been some spoiled rich chick from my school. You should have seen her there, always organizing some kinda dumb fundraiser, or winning some school game, or something.

I don't know if you could tell, but I really don't give a damn about that kinda stuff. People annoy me.

The only reason I show up to that place at all is because I want to become something. Dunno what yet, but I'm done sitting here like in a place like this.

What the hell am I gonna do? I heard Vanya think.

The thing is, the more intense the thought, the louder I can hear it and it was pretty damn loud right now. Zephyr was smart and didn't usually think too much around me. Even in battle, I could tell she trained herself to keep her mind clear. She learned that the hard way.

Vanya always worked hard to keep the school in check, and to organize all the events...while Zephyr sought to protect the entire city from harm, and she did a pretty damn decent job at both. A sliver of me, a very very tiny one...might have felt a little bad for her (not really).

"D-Dorin?" I heard her say, shaking me out of my thoughts. "Can I call you that? Or I could say Vertigo if you prefer." Her light brown hair was wet and messily fell across her shoulders. Her grey eyes were a bit puffy and a little redder than usual. Her arms were crossed, and her weight was shifted on the wall...I could tell her balance was still a bit wonky.

"Dorin is fine," I stated. "You're the one who gave me my alias, I think it was that one time when I tried to rob that bank...right?"

"I think it fits you!" Vanya smiled a little, which calmed me down for some strange reason. "You actually ended up giving me a migraine that day, and I guess the nickname ended up becoming official when the news used it."

"Pfft, yeah, unfortunately."

Vanya hesitated for a moment, but she took a seat on the chair across from me. She brushed her hands through her wet hair, and looked down at her hands...which I noticed were shaking a little. "Okay, so...we need to come up with a plan. But we need Ignis to think that we have similar goals to them, or at least let us be known to them. You're the Supervillain here, any ideas?"

"I think we should try something big, like stealing something valuable...but we have to make sure to use our powers so that Ignis knows that there are people with powers that they didn't get. But you gotta make sure not to use your Air Manipulation, because then they'll know it's you."

"Right, okay...I can do that." Vanya agreed. "But like I said before, we can't hurt anybody."

I yawned, making sure it was as loud and as obnoxious as possible. "Pfft, alright...I heard you the first time."

"You better have." She snapped.

Honestly, who does she think she is? What a bother.

I suppose I'll spare you of the boring details, but the two of us had spent the afternoon planning the heist. Vanya had insisted that she should change up her look a bit, just in case. I told her it literally wouldn't matter, but she kept insisting and I got very annoyed. I had no interest in driving all the way to the Millennium district, which was the upper class portion of Silver City, so I recommended my personal hair stylist.

I ended up waiting in the car, and might have fallen asleep. I woke up to a tap on my shoulder. Her long light brown hair was now up to her shoulders. Her hair was dyed black, with a bit of white highlights. For some reason, her having short hair made the freckles on her face pop out more, and the dark hair color contrasted with her silver eyes.

"Ok." I deadpanned. "Can we leave now? That only wasted about 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back".

"I thought of a good civilian alias! How about...Aria Wilson?" Vanya asked with a grin.

"That sounds more like Airhead Wilson..." I admitted. "You should really try to be more creative, sweetheart."

Vanya rolled her eyes, and crossed her arms. "You're such a headache."

"Did you come up with a villain alias yet?"

"What about Cyclone?"

I facepalmed. "Ah, yes....more air themed names..."

Vanya crossed her arms, "I dunno yet."

"Well, that needs to be the last thing on your mind. We have to get ready for the heist, we only have 2 hours now because of your little makeover."

"I had to to change up my look so I'm not recognizable." She snapped. "All it takes is one mistake for our ruse to fail."

"We won't fail, now let's get this party started."
