Forsaken Innocence

6. Accidental

                     'Why the hell did I agree to drink?', Mehek screamed inwardly while trying to keep a brave face. "Are you okay?", Tanu asked with fake concern. She wanted to remove Mehek from the picture and get closer to Abhi. Hence she had mixed drugs in the drink she had offered Mehek. "It's just that I don't usually drink", Mehek tried to smiled but failed, "But I am fine". "You don't look fine. Let me get you a ride for home", she tried dispose Mehek away. "No...No...No", Mehek vehemently protested, "Abhi asked me to stay here until he send for me. I have to be here". 

Tanu fumed but kept calm, "Fine. Then Why don't you sit at a quiet place and rest until he comes back". Mehek had to agree to Tanu since her head was spinning. Tanu supported her to walk and led her to the guest rooms. Mehek slumped into the couch kept at the corridor while Tanu left after reciting fake consolation that she will send someone to fetch her.

Tanu was trotting towards party to search Abhi. "There you are my gorgeous", Aliyah's happy voice stalled her. Tanu glared at her, "I believe my brother came begging on his knees to take him back", Aliyah beamed. "Bullsh*t Aliyah. Your planned failed. Big time! Abhi left me and plan to enjoy with his girlfriend", Tanu snarled at her. She was getting more and more angry at Aliyah. "Tanu, calm down", Aliyah knew Tanu too well to understand that anger always got best of her, "Which girlfriend are you referring to?". "A chit whom he is dating nowadays. The same one whom he is trying to get intimate tonight", Tanu nearly yelled. 

Aliyah was speechless since she was completely unaware of it. Tanu spoke vilely, "I won't let her take my Abhi from me. No one can separate us. He is mine", she then turned to Aliyah, "I did a big mistake by aiding you, Aliyah. Now I am taking matter into my hand and don't try to control me". "All right. All right. Relax", Aliyah knew it was vain to talk to Tanu, "I will back off. Just don't scr*e it this time".

Abhi was trying hard to wake up Ajay. As usual, Ajay drank more than he could manage and passed out. Abhi cursed himself since he was unable to find either Sonal or Sandeep. He desperately needed one of his friends to take Mehek away. He was too confused to handle Mehek. He was afraid he will hurt her or ruin her and he didn't want either. "Abhi", a familiar feminine voice addressed him.  Tanu's presence irked him more, "Not now, Tanu. I am not in the mood". "Abhi Baby, please forgive me. I came with a fake date to make you jealous. But now I realised my folly. I love you a lot and cannot live without you. Please take me back", she begged him. 

Abhi had craved to hear those words from Tanu but somehow tonight he was displeased. He pushed her away and tried to walk away carrying a drunk Ajay. Tanu quick grabbed his hand angrily, "Is it for her that you are rejecting? What does she possess that you weigh her over me?". Abhi was on the edge, "You really want to know. Then here me out. Integrity. Morals. Innocence". Tanu was broken by his harsh words and tear spilled on her cheeks. "These crocodile tears won't affect me anymore, Tanu. Go and find someone else", he spat at her before departing.

Tanu wept bitterly recognizing Abhi's abandonment . She grabbed the bottle that Ajay has left and drank straight from it. She realised that her world had crumbled down due to her foolishness. Soon jealousy burned her mind. Her mind was full of thoughts about Abhi and his new girlfriend. She drank again & again until she was unable to walk straight. She decided to leave the venue to avoid further embarrassment. She managed to get to the parking lot and waited for her car to arrive. When she got Aliyah's call, she attended it angrily. 

"F*ck you, B*tch. Dare you call me again", she yelled at her. "Don't sc*ew me, B*tch. I didn't call you for loose talk. Just tell me where is the girl? ", Aliyah sounded to be worried. In her drunken stupor and emotional outburst, Tanu mistook that Aliyah was referring to Abhi's new girlfriend. "I dumped her at the corridor leading to guest rooms", Tanu angrily disconnected the call and switched off her phone. Soon her car arrived and driver took her back home. Tanu drifted off to deep slumber, unknown to the grave mistake she had made.

Aliyah wasn't referring to Abhi's girlfriend but the girl who was supposed to lure Shaurya Khanna in to her honey trap. She arrived at the corridor to find Mehek being passed out on the couch. She softly rocked Mehek's shoulders to wake her up. Mehek was now completely under effect of drug. She moaned and looked at Aliyah. It was difficult for her to make sense of the situation so she asked Aliyah, "Did Tanu send you?". "Yeah, let me take you to the room", with those words Aliyah support her to get up and lead her to the guest room. She wondered whether this drunken escort will suffice but it was too late to replan.

Aliyah made Mehek lay on her bed. "He will be arriving soon", she told Mehek. "Will he come for me?", Mehe was in her LaLa land expecting Abhi. "Ofcourse he will. Try to act a bit sober. Don't disappoint him and do whatever he wants. Give him a most memorable night of his life", she told wickedly, holding Mehek's shoulders. Aliyah cupped her face to ensure that she stays awake. Mehek felt it odd but still she nodded. 

Before Aliyah could leave the room, she asked, "You are Aliyah Mehra rt? Abhi's sister?". Aliyah froze for a moment. Fear took over her and contemplated to abort the plan. May be she had seen me or Abhi with Tanu, she calmed herself. " You are not here to ask questions. Use your mouth to please him. Just spread your legs and do your best. Don't forget why you came here tonight", she snarled at her and left the room.

Mehek felt sad that Abhi's sister rebuked her and behaved as if she was a cheap wh*re. She started to have second thoughts. Will Abhi also think about me in similar lines? May be giving myself to Abhi so soon is not wise. She wanted to leave but her body was not cooperating. She laid back on the bed to rest her tired body. I will talk to Abhi when he comes, Mehek mused. But drug took over soon and she was not in her sane self. She didn't how much time passed, until someone entered her room after a soft knock.
