Unique Pain

Jimin pov:

"You okay?" Hobi spoke softly.
I chugged some of the water I had and continued looking outside of the window.

"Yeah I'm fine." I shrugged. Hobi suddenly laughed.
"W-what's funny?" I asked feeling embarrassed.
"Remember what happened during our stage play in elementary?" He continued to laugh.

I squinted trying to remember. "What happened?" I asked.
"I remember how cutely you stumbled out onto the stage with that cow outfit on, only to fall in front of everyone." He continued.

Flashbacks. I slightly smiled seeing my younger self.
"Do you remember what happened after you fell?" He asked turning his attention toward me.
I closed my eyes.

"You ran out onto the stage and rubbed my stomach while I cried." I gently smiled.
"I guess I never really forgot. Now it's just instinct." He laughed and continued driving.
I stared at his bright smile as mine faded.

 

Jk pov:

It was pitch dark outside and the only thing I could see was my headlights and whatever else was in front of me.

My fingers slightly cramped from driving but I needed to get home as fast as possible.
Unfortunately my phone had died right after I left. I can't contact Jimin or Hobi.

How long has it been since I've seen you Jimin...... I miss you.... so... much.

My eyes felt heavy and my body ached.
I haven't eaten anything or slept, I'm extremely hot and dehydrated. I feel oddly sick.

My eyes fluttered closed a few times. Pull over... just pull over. I listened to my conscious, quickly swerving and nearly crashing.

I buckled over in pain clutching onto the dashboard.

It's dark outside and the only things to my left and right are woods. I leaned back trying to gather my thoughts but I was so tired.

"Jungkook!" I heard a familiar voice call out. My eyes fluttered open as I looked around.
  "Jimin...?" I whispered as I opened the car door stumbling out.

"Jungkook...over here! I need help!" Jimin's sweet voice sounded distant. I need to help him..
"Jimin where are you?!" I called out, looking around.
He was nowhere to be seen.

"I'm over here!" I saw a silhouette just behind a tree waving. My heart quickly sped up.
"J-jimin." I weakly walked toward him. "Jimin I've missed y-

A loud horn blared as a car swerved, barely missing me. I dropped to my knees feeling immense pressure and the sudden burst of adrenaline made me shake.
I looked toward the tree but Jimin wasn't there.

   My heart pounded in my ears as I suddenly collapsed onto the ground.

"I-I almost hit someone." Hobi face palmed.
"What happened? Who was that guy?" I looked behind us.
Hobi shook his head. "We're almost there we have to focus on Jungkook right now." He slowly continued to drive.

I looked back one last time.
"Wait Hobi! H- he passed out. What if he needs help?" I leaned out of the window.
Hoseok sighed before quickly giving in.

   We slowly got out of the car and walked toward the mysterious person. I turned on my phone flashlight and continued forward.

I'm so glad that he wasn't hit.

I squatted down next to the man. His clothes were a little baggy but I looked at the car he drove.
It was too dark to see what type of car it was though.

His hair looked soft but messy. What exactly happened? He was lying on his stomach.
"Let's go put him back in his car, it's dangerous outside." I said looking up at Hobi.

He nodded and grabbed a hold of the boy's upper body gently flipping him over.

Pain. A pain so sharp and heavy quickly pierced through my heart as my surroundings began to blur

    I clutched onto my chest as I screamed to the top of my lungs. Everything slowed down as tear drops stung my eyes in the foggy air.

That pain. That sudden pain signifies an emotion, a new presence of a situation I never thought I'd be in.

That pain.....was relief.
