I listened to the constant clicking and popping as they continued to load my beloved car onto the rack.
My chest still felt heavy with disappointment.I looked at my phone. 30 minutes late now. In another 20 minutes I might as well look for a new job.
~honk.honk.~
I looked up. Someone actually came to pick me up.
I cautiously approached the car. It's tented windows slightly gave me goosebumps. I opened the car door.My grip tightened on the handle. Not this guy again! I remembered him from the coffee shop. I grew nervous. "Did Hobi send you?" I questioned.
He stared me down.
"Get in. Unless you wanna get fired from your 9/5." He grinned. I got in, slightly agitated.
"Don't belittle me." I glared. He quickly grabbed my collar, harshly bringing me towards him.
"Or what?" He whispered. We held eye contact for a while before he shoved me backwards.I fixed my posture and tried to calm my beating heart. It grew unbelievably silent before he spoke once again.
"Are you always this snappy?" He asked, finally driving. I looked out of the window.
"Are you always this rude?" I questioned.
"Only to people like you." He glanced at me.
"What's that suppose to mean?" I swallowed hard."I like you Jimin." He stared at me.
I frowned at his gaze.
"You talk a lot, we almost there?" I sighed. He smirked."Unfortunately, I like this look on you." He glanced over at me once again. I grew quiet.
"I like seeing you flustered. It's such a turn on."I ignored him. He pulled into a parking spot and turned towards me.
"You're here." He jingled the keys. I began collecting my stuff.
"Thanks." I said trying to open the door.
It didn't budge.
