3 days later

I was in the dining room having breakfast, Shawn was still in bed asleep because he had nothing to do today. Since that day, we have not spoken because he was always away from home or I would leave when he arrived.

When I was going up the stairs I run into Shawn, but he neither looks at me nor greets me (how nice), but he is not going to ruin my happiness.

Today I was very happy because they would finally bring my horse. Since I was little I have always loved these animals and well I missed them a lot.

In the back there was a stable so that when they brought it to keep it, we can keep it there when it rains or it's a bad weather. Then it also has a meadow so that it can run or graze there.

After spending about 20 minutes in the room doing my hair and dressing, I go back to the first floor and go out the back door that led to the backyard. There was a pool and trees, sun loungers also.

I go to one of the sofas that was under one of the trees. There I was alone for a few minutes lying down until I see the silhouette of someone's shadow reflected on the ground and the moment I look up I see Shawn with his sunglasses.

"Your horse will arrive in half an hour." he tells me and then tells me to sit down for him to stand next to me.

"Thanks for informing me." I tell him as I get up, but he takes my arm.

"Stay here with me." he says and until I sit down next to him he doesn't let go of it

"Are you excited for your horse to come?"

"Yes, thank you very much for letting him come." I say and give him a short hug which he accepts.

"You're welcome, it's a bit of what you deserve." he tells me and then begins to stroke my arm.

"You know Shawn, I would like to help in the management of Spain." I say and he got tense.

"Carla we have already talked about that and it is still a no." he says with a somewhat serious tone and faking a smile.

"But I want to help-"

He didn't let me finish and he takes my arm tightly and leads me inside the castle.

"You don't understand a NO for an answer." he says when we are already inside "our" room.

"You are heavy and rude." he says and sits down in a small armchair that is inside the room and I was going to open the door, but this one comes back and starts talking.

"Don't even think about touching the lock on that door and going out until I say so." he says, getting up from his seat and pushing me to the bed where I was previously.

After about fifteen minutes one of the maids comes to tell me that my horse has just arrived. I get out of this and Shawn follows me. By the time I got to where the truck was, I couldn't be more excited. Then the boy who was driving this goes to the back of the truck and opens it and goes inside it to get it. When I see Apollo get out of the truck, the first thing I do is go and pet him.

"I miss you so much baby." I say as I caress his head and give his a kiss there.

Then I see how Shawn approaches this one and begins to caress him.

"Welcome to your new home Apollo." he says as he tells the boy to take him to the stable.

I was heading to the stable to take Apollo for a ride of those he missed so much. When I have him equipped we both leave the stable and I get into it. I start walking around the meadow and I don't know when Shawn got there and started watching us. Then I go up to him and get off Apollo.

"Want to ride Apollo?" I tell him and he denies.

"Come on, it's fun."

"I have never ridden a horse." he says and I offer him a somewhat mocking smile.

"Come on, I'll teach you." I tell him and he jumps on the fence.

For a few minutes, well, Shawn was scared of Apollo and that was super funny. After five thousand tries later Shawn was already on top of it and I was leading him with a rope like my grandfather did when I was little.

We spent about four hours with Apollo and Shawn finally learned to ride a horse. All afternoon we did not stop laughing and having a good time.

Now we were each lying on the couch and I think we are not going to get up until dinner time.

"I had a great time." says Shawn as he looks me straight in the eye.

"Me too, we have to repeat it." I say and he laughs.

"I think it would be a good idea to bring him a new partner, I mean, to keep him company and to go for a few rides, the two of us on horseback."

"I would love to, thank you very much Shawn." I say and blow him a kiss.

"You're welcome, honey, everything to need to see you smile like you did today all afternoon." he says and I smile at him.
