As I wake up, I reach out for my phone and as usual, text Dream.

George
Morning dream :D

I steadily lift myself up from the bed and open up the blinds.

Hello, beautiful England.

The city is filled to the brim with snow, people hastily making their way through the streets, all wearing coats and scarves.

I make my way to the kitchen and make myself a simple breakfast; cereal. I was up last night streaming, so I am not really in the mood for an all out breakfast.

The day was normal. I was streaming, playing minecraft with the others, but something was... missing. It was Dream.

Dream was absent the whole day. Even the stream questioned him. It was definitely strange.

12: 48 AM

Clickity clack.

As usual, I stayed up late editing a new video for the channel. Well, that was until some unknown caller started calling me.

I looked at my phone, hesitating to pick it up. It could be somebody bad, for all I know. But I picked it up anyways.

"Is this... George? George Henry Davidson?"

Oh no.

"Y-yes?"

"Your... Friend, Clay, is in the hospital, currently in the emergency room."

I flinch. What?

A moment of silence passes, and I shed a single tear.

"No need to worry though, sir. We are working our hardest to fix him up. He is currently recovering, but... "

"But what?" I say, shaking.

"He's in a coma."

"O-oh."

"We'll try our best sir. Our hospital is in Florida, in ********. Have a good day sir."

"But wait Ms.!"

"Yes sir?"

"What happened?"

Beep.

And just like that, the call ends. I wonder what happened. I am sad, but, how can I possibly sleep without knowing? I shed a few tears, thinking of the possibilities. Kidnapped? Car crash? S-suicide? Just thinking about this, I shudder. Especially the last one. Why would he ever do that?

I shake away the thoughts from my head. I lie down on my bed, hugging a pillow.

I then text the first person I think of. Sapnap.

It's nice to know that I still have a friend to turn to. And it's even better to have that small glint of hope.
